The newest comedy from TVLand comes back for the second episode of the Hot in Cleveland spinoff The Soul Man; and even if I am not the main target of the show, I have to say I found it quite funny and enjoyed the great cast that has Cedric the Entertainer, Niecy Nash, John Beasley and Wesley Jonathan among others.
In this episode, called Pastor Interference, airing Wednesday June 27 10PM on TVLand, Barton (John Beasley) is spending all his time at Boyce’s (Cedric the Entertainer) house, so Boyce hires him as a senior advisor at the church, but quickly regrets the offer. Lolli (Niecy Nash) thinks Barton needs a woman, and Lyric (Jazz Raycole) practices driving with Stamps (Wesley Jonathan).
