We are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of the season.
And this one comes a big of a surprise as any… TBS renews Are We There Yet? Ok, you would think it was a no brainer for TBS to renew Are We There Yet?, That´s correct, it was a no brainer… the shocking surprise is that TBS is ordering 90 more episodes of the show!
Are we There Yet gets renewed for 9 times what has been aired!
One of the main reasons cited as triggering Are We There Yet renewal order of 90 more episodes is the show’s unique dealmaking structure, whereby hitting a minimum required rating results in extremely large commitment — an increasingly common system pioneered by Tyler Perry and Debmar Mercury’s comedies on the network.
“’Are We There Yet? attracts a young, diverse audience, making it an especially good fit for our Wednesday night slate of original sitcoms,” said Michael Wright, head of programming at TBS.

Hey, at least its not another Tyler Perry Show. TBS is trying to market that they are “very funny” yet continue to air Tyler Perry which is the complete opposite. I think the Boondocks nailed it on the head spoofing his work.
IKR. That episode of Boondocks was hilarious! Tyler Perry was bout to get Granddad! Lol! But I’d rather watch House Of Payne all day than watch are we there yet once! That show sucks. I can’t believe Ice Cube made that crap… I liked the movies, they weren’t “Very Funny” either but they were still good but this show sucks man it is like a giant cliche!

Really?! Really?! Well TBS is for those dumb ass black folk. Really?! These shows depict the dumbest s@$t I’ve ever seen. I understand black people want to be depicted as white and a jolly family, but come on…… The movies where not funny and neither is the dumb ass show.. Never watched it and don’t need to. I think this is one of the stupidest shows on tv. It should not have gotten renewed at all. The fact that every episode has at least one guest star, and the fact that they advertise that who ever the guest star is going to be on the show proves that they don’t have a large fan base and need these guest stars to get viewers. The show is stupid.
I am glad Are We There Yet was renewed. I love this show and I can’t stand Meet the Browns, talking about terrible acting. That Tyler Perry show is a bunch of buffoonery. Nonetheless, Are We There Yet is a family show. My son and I look forward to watching this show every week.

Are we there yet is just another retarded comedy show aimed at black people. Dumb ass gangster rapper gone Hollywood ice cube or ice tray, or whatever the hell he calls himself, thinks just because they advertise that he is the executive producer, every black person in the country will watch his retarded sitcom. I’ve never watched an episode, but just from seeing the previews you can see how stupid the acting and plot is. A huge guy that’s raising someone else’s little unapreciative brats and seems to be scared of his wifes brother who just happens to be dumb ass ice cube. Wow, cube is playing an intimadating though guy role in his own sitcom, what a surprise. I’ll actually watch the show if cube plays a more realistic role that describes him, a pussy ass faggot.

Sadly your comments may prompt more people to watch the show just to make their own determination about it. Although bad! I watch are we there yet reruns everyday before work, and can’t get enough of it…As a matter of fact i’m watching a rerun now..Friday 1/18/2013 12am…The epidsode is being a vegan. The actors are funny to me and very realistic…Anyone who has a negative comment, are either racist or dosen’t have a sense of humor…I LOVE THE SHOW ARE WE THERE YET…AND HOPE TO SEE 90 MORE SHOWS….

This show sucks ass. If they bring the show back, at least come up with new episodes. They just show repeat after repeat after repeat everyday and it’s tiring.
