A New Harry Potter Book?
To add up to what she said on Oprah (read the rest for that story), on today´s Worldwide premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, JK Rowling was asked if there was going to be a new Harry Potter Book, and she answered: “Never say never … It is my baby and if I want to bring it out to play again I will!”. Does this mean there will be a new Harry Potter book? Not at all, but at least she´s toying with the idea.

Harry Potter saga continues?
Hopefully, that´s what celebrated author JK Rowling hinted on Oprah.
Speaking to Oprah Winfrey, she said that there are definitely more stories to tell about the wizarding world, possibly even enough for two further books.
“I’m not going to say I won’t,” she said when asked for the possibilty of new books for Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and the wizarding world.
The news will come as a huge boost of hope for Harry Potter fans worldwide, since JK Rowling made it quite clear that the saga of Harry Potter ended after The Deathly Hallows.
JK Rowling told Oprah she got very emotional when she finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, since she cried “like I haven’t cried since my mother died”.
The seven Harry Potter books of the saga have sold over 400 million copies since the first one, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, was released in 1997.
The first part of the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will hit theaters in November this year.
The characters from the books “are still in my head,” JK Rowling told Oprah.
What we are going to hold on to is the part where she said “You never know” in order for us Harry Potter fans to have some hope for a new book on Harry Potter´s saga.
Will a new villain rise in the wizarding world? would the new book of Harry Potter´s saga be about a different character? Would Dumbledore´s story be the one to tell? Maybe go to the future? Perhaps tell the stories of the Weasleys?
What would you like JK Rowling to write about in a potential new book of Harry Potter´s saga?
I’d like to read more about Harry Potter. Doesn’t really mather though, I’d walk over mountains for anything from the wizarding world of Harry Potter.
I Think Harry Potter Movies have gone down Hill for me and know it is over kill and the story lines are not creative and lacks in area and know I Feel it is greed that is taking over for the saga, Slow down before you kill the interest of the Book and or the movies are going to go down Hill How much money do you need stop.
i probably speak for millions of other harry potter fans and say YES PLEASE MORE HARRY POTTER BOOKS they are something that i miss so much, the movies are fine but the books are up there with the greats ,narnia, lord of the rings etc… and the audio books especially jim dale are out of this world.

How about Harry’s 7th year at Hogwarts, which he never got to start…
I want her to write out about albus and James and Lily. Harry’s
kids. Then she can start all over on some parts like teachers and problems in the world while still having the old characters play apart. I would love for her to write about the “NEW GENERATION”
I probably speak for many people when I say “enough is enough”. Seriously, I loved the harry potter books (although the first few were better written), but the story arc has very clearly ended. I think it would be a mistake to continue it. There are loads of things that just seem to carry on far too long. Things like big brother here in the uk which, after 10 series, eventually ended because people lost interest. I personally do not want something like that to happen to the potter books
The new story should be about Ginny and Harry’s kids.They should be about 15 for james and 13 for albus and 11 for lily-cant remember the difference between their ages-but i agree with mark it should be about the new generation-mcgonagall should still be around same with flitwick.A new villain would be nice-perhaps scorpio malfoy? hope this helps-

J.K. Rowling says she cried so hard when she finished writing them, would it help her to know that millions of fans, including me, cried just as hard when we finished reading the series? I would cross the seven seas to experience more secrets from Harry Potter’s world. The whole word is holding it’s breath, hoping for some kind of sequel- whether or not it contains the characters we know and love.
It would be great if there was a small book about Dumbledor’s, Snape’s and Draco Malfoy’s feelings and actions during the last two books, or a sequel refairing to Harry’s kids going to Hogwarts…
I absolutely love the books and i think the fans wat to relive the way they felt while reading the hp books, but the story ended at a good place. if there were more books then the intrest in them would die, and when stuff’s outstretched then u just feel like u’ve had enough of it. i wish i coud re experience the feeling of reading those books for the first time, but i dont want harry potter to die out because of tooooo mANY books on the topic. I prettymuch just think that the series has ended at a good spot, even though it made ppl cry, cause i think thats what makes it great. loving the books o much u want more… dont think what i wrote makes sense but what ev.
you know she could make a book about the history of hogwarts or mooning mertlys story or a book about harrys kids or like something or petunias story or a book with the storys of mertly harrys kids and petunia but all divided

I think it woold be good that she contiune story about Harry,Ron and Hermione on their 7th year in Hogwarts,and that at the end someone of his good friends like Hagrid,Ron, or someone else betray him and kill him.

Not ashamed to say i would love to read more HP books and about their children growing up and the new teachers at Hogwarts -i am 54 years old and these are amongst my favourite books i have read (and i read a lot!).
Would also love to meet JK one day !
ofcourse i would like to read more harry potter stories..specially about james,sirius,lupin and snape and also i think it’s better to continue the story with adventures about harry’s kids..like they will find the resurrection stone in the forest or somethng like voldermort has a child and he comes as the next voldermort..j.k rowling has better ideas than me so i am looking forward!! 🙂 long live harry potter!!!

i would really love another harry potter book and movie, you see i am a harry/hermione fan that’s the reason i want another harry potter, i want harry and hermione to be together because they are so meant to be, they are perfect for each other, and they have so much chemistry. The first time i watched a harry potter movie i really thought harry and hermione are gonna end up together but i got so disappointed when i saw the half blood prince. So Ppplllsss jk rowling write another harry potter
I think Prequels and a set of books telling of what happens between the 19 years later ending would be great, including the new childrens hogwarts adventures… even offshoots of Voldemorts life growing up in the orphanage up to his death after trying to kill harry. at this point, its become like the starwars saga for me.. any additions that are well written by JK Rowling or third party writers will be accepted by me with thanks and interest..
