Based on the best-selling novel written by Nicholas Sparks, Duke (James Garner) tells the sweet love story about Allie (Rachel McAdams) and Noah (Ryan Gosling), two young lovers coming from different backgrounds but deeply drawn together and forced apart the same summer. Several years later, Allie is to wed a young soldier named Lon (James Marsden) but can’t completely get over Noah, especially after seeing his picture in the newspaper. After reconnecting, their bond proves to be stronger than ever.

The movie includes over ten minutes of deleted scenes, previously only available on the special features of the DVD/BluRay. For the first time ever, the scenes have been edited back into the film, for a richer, more meaningful viewing experience.
