I really look forward to ABC Family showing all of the great Christmas classics. It is so nice to know that ABC Family does this tradition every year. What a treat!!
Keep up that G-R-E-A-T tradition. Thank You ABC Family.
Wondering why the days seem to be off? Dec. 1 is a Saturday this year and so on? Is this accurate?
I LOVE the 25 Days of Christmas! I look forward to the schedule every year and I print it out and put it on the fridge.
However, I do have a couple of recommendations…
With so many great Christmas movies, why do you do an entire day of Harry Potter which has nothing at all to do with Christmas? Also, why the Pixar movies that have nothing to do with Christmas also?
I think it would be better to replace those movies with great Christmas classics such as: White Christmas, Christmas with the Kranks and The Man in the Santa Claus Suit (Fred Astere).
Thanks again for continuing this great tradition and Merry Christmas!
I love everything except i havent seen three days in a couple of years. I love that movie and always looked really forward to seeing it.
I love 25 days of christmas! I feel there are some movies that are not christmas but are good and some are not so good. What about charlie brown or elf? Those are tow favorites!
I love the christmas movies on 25 days of Christmas, but i dont understand why there is Harry Potter and other Pixar movies. I like Pixar but it has nothing to do with Christmas. I think we should have more things like Rudolph and frosty. They are classics and wonderful christmas cartoons. 25 Days of christmas used to be all about those. We should bring it back!
The 2012 ABC Family 25 Days of Christmas Schedule has not been published, yet. The listing above is last year’s with 2012 in place of 2011 through out it.
You are actually correct. This is an article I published nearly a year ago, on December 6th,2011 and I guess it was the need of 2011 to end or something, I missed put every day.
Actaully ABC FAmily has just launched Halloween Programming announcement, and 25 days of Christmas won´t be announced probably until the last week of November or first in December, when I´ll post it for sure.
I do not see where Harry Potter is a Christmas movie. Elf on the Shelf or something else could be viewed IMO.
I love the tradition of the 25 days of Christmas, however I agree with most other people. While I love happy potter and Pixar and have nothing against them, they have nothing to do with the season. There’s so many other great options out there, white Christmas, elf.. And personally I’m getting tired of home alone being played CONSTANTLY in December.
I agree about the movie Three Days! I wish they
Would play it this year! I don’t understand why Harry Potter is taking up
2 days since I don’t see how Harry Potter has to do with Christmas! Also
There is a HP marathon on every time I turn on ABC. Enough Harry Potter!
Also what’s with the Pixar movies like Toy Story, Incredibles and Up? Good movies
But nothing to do with Christmas! I love ABC 25 Days of Christmas and look forward
To it. I just with ALL 25 DAYS were CHRISTMAS related! Should be!
I am disappointed that the schedule doesn’t include many Christmas shows and movies. There are so many old movies to choose from. What does Harry Potter and Nemo etc. have to do with Christmas? Those you can see any day. At Christmas I would love to see “Christmas” shows and movies.
Where is An Elf story, or the peanuts gang in this line up!!!
Very disappointed… and hope this changes.
i like alot of the movies you are playing, but why is harry potter and pixar movies on this? they’re are so many amazing christmas movies why play the exact same ones every year? don’t get me wrong i love those, but i think you should add some other movies…like.. elf, christmas with the kranks, peanuts, it’s a wonderful life, chriistmas carol, etc.
[…] 2012 ABC Family 25 Days of Christmas Schedule […]
What? Half of these movies don’t have anything to do with with Christmas, and not one of them touches on the original Christmas story. Where are the classics ? No. Don’t think I’ll be tuning in much to this channel over the holidays.
I love ABC’s countdown! The last few years I have been a little confused about why Harry Potter marathons have anything to do with Christmas or why so many shows are repeated when there are so many amazing ABC original movies that get left out!
why do they never play Santa Clause 2?
I LOVEEE abc family’s 25 days of christmas I watch what I can every year. HOWEVER some suggestions: the incredibles have NOTHING to do with christmas…it should be taken out. I always remember it being played so close to christmas..why I do not know. other movies such as harry potter have at least a minor christmas scene. and QUIT HATING ON THE HARRY POTTER MARATHONS. i LOVE THEM!
I truly enjoy the 25 Days of Christmas!! With that said, why in the world is Three Days on only one time? It is an ABC original movie and like others it should be on more than one time. Heck…I will be at work when it runs. Can you please run Three Days a couple more times in the evening so the children do not feel cheated.
Thank you kindly!!!!
The Harry Potter series has tons of great themes that fit perfectly in with all the other typical Christmas movies and they have some amazing winter/Christmas scenes. Most of the Christmas movies are being played 4 or more times in those 25 days so you guys can live with 1 harry potter marathon. Stop complaining.
