free-agents-cancelled-renewed-nbcAlways, when fall season starts, our lists of renewed shows on 2011 and all the cancelled shows on 2011,get bigger. This time, it is the chopping block that adds an item to it.

NBC cancelled Free Agents, in a not at all surprising move, since the show was frozen in the ratings with a pale 1,0 rating in the adult demo.

The thing is I am sad because it had great talent committed to it, Hank Azaria, Kathryn Hahn and Anthony Head for instance, and that should´ve made this show more watchable and to give it a chance. Viewers did not agree and the show never got to a start. It was a dull, slow paced comedy and that was what eventually pulled the trigger on the cancellation for Free Agents, it´s just I assumed people would´ve watched the premiere and then start dropping, and instead the show never got any love at all.

At least Hank Azaria can be relieved because The Simpsons got renewed, but his headlining this one did not go as well.
