Our lists for renewed shows on 2011 and all the cancelled shows on 2011,get bigger. And lately, as we´ve seen with Up All Night pickup, Whitney Pickup, 2 Broke Girls pickup and New Girl pickup, we are seeing several full season orders of shows that started with half freshman seasons. And we also see a pattern here: it´s sitcom year! We are surely expecting the fate for Suburgatory, being confident on its status, while underperforming sitcoms have already seen the axe, as the case of How to be a gentleman cancellation and Free Agents cancellation, too.
Now, in this case, what we are seeing is that Disney Channel renewed Shake it Up bringing the second season to a full 26 episodes order.
What is Shake it Up about? Plot Synopsis
BFF CeCe Jones and Raquel “Rocky” Blue, have dreamed about becoming professional dancers ever since they were little girls, and their big break finally comes when they get a gig as background dancers on a local TV dance show called Shake it Up, Chicago! CeCe and Rocky bend all the rules to make it to the big time, testing their friendship and experiencing new adventures along the way.
