It´s always interesting to keep updated the lists of renewed shows on 2011 and all the cancelled shows on 2011, and see which shows are getting the nod to comeback and which aren´t.
And this time we are getting the earliest axing in the new fall season, and I really can´t say I am surprised at all. I was between this one and Charlie´s Angels, two subpar shows in my eyes; specially when pairing it with new good shows from the same NBC or other networks. (Terra Nova, Up All Night, New Girl, Person of Interest, Prime Suspect and a lot more).
Well, thing is, NBC cancelled The Playboy Club after less than a handful of episodes. The show not only has been underperforming, but also got below expectations reviews too, so NBC is cancelling The Playboy Club and pulling off the show immediately from the schedule and replacing it with repeats of Prime Suspect (a decision that hopefully will bring Prime Suspect´s numbers up, turning it into a safe bet for renewal later in the season), until in October 31st Rock Center with Brian Williams premieres.
What do you think? Are you sad NBC cancelled The Playboy Club? Let me know in the comments section.
Also, remember to follow me on Twitter for more renewed and cancelled as The Playboy Club shows scoop.
I’m pretty disapointed the show is cancelled. I believed it had a lot of potential and I loved the premise.

Instead of doing a show…This should be turned into a movie…I am straight and a woman…I can see more taking my cloths off at home?
The reason this show is failing…No Nude Ladies…PLAYBOY IS ALL ABOUT TAKING YOUR CLOTHS OFF…This show is rated G and that is the reason…It makes you not want to watch…But you can save it…If you make it a movie and get the girls out of there Bunny Cloths?
