We are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of 2011. And the year came out in its first week already giving way to a couple renewals. Second week of the year, is full of renewals. ABC Family renews Secret Life of the American Teenager for a fourth season. In this case, the same day as Pretty Little Liars renewal order for second season. No one should have had doubts about the fate of Secret Life of the American Teenager and its renewal chances, since this comes for ABC Family’s highest-rated series and Secret Life of the American Teenager was cable’s top-rated series among women 18-34. The new season will air next summer.
Hopefully we´ll get to see more good TV in this fourth season of Secret Life of the American Teenager and perhaps (fingers crossed) a crossover episode with another ABC Family show. (Wouldn´t it be awesome?)

I am catching up on the seasons on netflix and LOVE the show can’t believe I missed it!
I like the show; my husband and I watch it. The first season was the best. Not too realistic lately though. The show seems to have gotten to be primarily about sex and nothing else. Would be nice to through some different subject matter in. We weren’t teenagers all that long ago, and it seems our lives were more fulfilling. More fun times with friends, football games, school dances. It would be nice to see more of that…

I loved the first seasons but gave up on the latest one after 3 episodes, I lost all interest in the characters and the show became more of a sex education lesson than entertainment. It definitely wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world if it got cancelled.
