More information to fill the lists for cancelled shows of 2012 and renewed shows of 2012. This one was a big bet for the network, bringing Ashley Judd and Sean Bean to television, but the show did not completely click, and ABC cancels Missing.
The premise was good, The series follows Rebecca “Becca” Winstone (Ashley Judd), a widow and retired CIA agent with an 18-year-old son, Michael (Nick Eversman). In 2001, when Becca and her husband Paul Winstone (Sean Bean) were active CIA agents, he was killed in a car bombing witnessed by their son. In the pilot episode, Michael informs his mother that he has been accepted to a summer architecture program in Rome, Italy. Becca, who now lives an ordinary life running a florist shop, is hesitant to let him go but gives in. After not hearing from him for over a week and receiving a call from the architecture school informing her that Michael has moved out of his dorm room, Becca travels to Rome to track him down; but she finds herself in the middle of an international conspiracy involving the CIA and an Interpol agent who was once her lover.

Me and several family members are super pissed off that missing got canceled. That is one show that every week we look forward to.
SOOOO SAD THAT MISSING IS CANCELLED! I’M ATUALLY SHOCKED BECAUSE IT’S THE BEST SHOW I’VE EVER WATCHED ON A LOCAL CHANNEL LIKE ABC & I HAVE BEEN ADDICTED TO IT…WATCHING IT OVER & OVER ON DEMAND:( I’M A 31 YEAR OLD WHO NOW HAS TO FIND SOMETHING TO TAKE MISSING’S PLACE ON MONDAY NIGHTS!!
Yes, this was the best show on television. This and Awake, which also got cancelled. Now there is nothing worth watching on television. Too bad that the broadcasting audience is not a sophisticated one. The locations on Missing were breathtaking. But people would rather see crude jokes and the inside of an apartment.
Missing is the best mystery drama I have seen on television. I am an avid mystery reader and this show is perfect for me and I have not missed one episode. This show is much more creative than “reality tv”
Really bummed that this show is being cancelled! It was one of those shows that I was excited to see what happens next and it kept you guessing. 🙁
REALLY?!!!!!! Canceling a show that has such intense action and still has heart? And ENDING it with BeccaUSDINF?!!!!

so not only do they cancel missing, a good show by the way, but they leave us with a cliffhanger!! you know if they thought the show might be cancelled they could have had 2 endings and show the one they needed. i don’t get abc at all, they have had some of the best shows on tv, but they cancel them by the end of the season (if they make it that far)! that is why i love shows on cable stations, not only do they give their shows time to get an audience, but they are well written and enjoyable to watch. i’m sure they will put on yet another stupid so called “reality” show in its place and that sucks. missing will surely be missed!! :'(
I am so disappointed that Misding was cancelled!!!!! The execs at ABC need their heads examined!!! Who ever made rhe decision to cancel the show should be fired!!! The best action series Missing on air! I loved show!!! Too bad!!! Now i am forced to watch all the other crap on TV….Not!!’
WTFFFFF…….damn how many TV show did I watch only to find out at the end that it was a waste of time because the show has been canceled only because it wasn’t as success like lets say avatar.
It was a great show and I loved to watch it.

So not happy about this! This show was gripping and had me anxious to watch every episode each week — it is SO much better than the unrealistic Covert Affairs on USA Network. The character of Becca was so much more realistic as she didn’t run around in 4-inch designer shoes but dressed the way you’d expect someone to who had to be alert at all times for dangerous situations.
I am so sad Missing with Ashley Judd has been cancelled. The show kept me on the edge of my seat. We finally, get a good show to watch and they cancelled it. What I dont understand is how these horrible “reality shows” make it. In my opinion there are trash. Please bring back quality TV!
