teen-wolf-cancelled-renewed-season-three-mtvComic Con is going on in San Diego, California; therefore, expect a lot of info to come, and this one, to fill the lists for cancelled shows of 2012 and renewed shows of 2012, after MTV renewed Teen Wolf for season three in a welcome move by all the fans at the  panel in SDCC today. The announcement for Teen Wolf third season renewal was expected, and the timing for it perfect, since it matched with a room filled with fans of the show, making it for good vibe.

Third season renewal order for Teen Wolf is supersized, making it a 24 episodes run, doubling what has been the norm in seasons one and two of twelve each.

With production for a new season to start, the show is moving from Atlanta to Los Angeles, where it got the production costs down thanks to a tax benefit lotto draw.

“Teen Wolf” is a suspenseful drama about transformation set against the backdrop of contemporary teen life, with a forbidden, romantic love story at its core.  In the first season, Scott McCall was an ordinary teenager until one strange night a vicious bite forever changed his life.  Season one concluded with Scott caught in the middle of a war between hunters and werewolves, but discovering one last clue allowed him to enlist both friends and a previous enemy in order to stop the mysterious killings and win back Allison, the girl he loves.
