What a busy day in reporting shows added to both the list of renewed shows of 2012 and the list of cancelled shows of 2012. In this case, DirecTV´s Audience Network cancels Hit & Miss after only over a handful episodes aired in its first season. Probably, the fact that Chloe Sevigny is set to star in the upcoming drama from A&E Those Who Kill where she will play Catherine, a detective who possesses a deep understanding of the serial killers she hunts. Also, the fact that this originally british show has failed yet to secure a renewal order across the pond is heavily weighing on this decision.
What was Hit & Miss about? Plot Synopsis
Mia, a preoperative male-to-female transsexual, works as a contract killer. She discovers that she fathered a son, Ryan, with an ex-girlfriend who has died from cancer. Mia is named by the mother as guardian of the boy and his three half-siblings, who live in a rural farmhouse in Yorkshire. While continuing to work as an assassin, Mia learns to cope with being in a parental role.
