Cancelled Shows 2009: Mercy confirmed for a full 22 episode season by NBC!

I am wicked happy and excited you ordered more episodes, and hope you continue the show. It’s new, fresh, and the stories are different and better then any other show. The main story lines (Victorias family) is really great. The show is a winner.

PLEASE KEEP MERCY I AM ADDICTED!!!!! I love Veronica!!!!! This is def one of the top 2 shows on TV, especially with all of the crap that is shown!!!!!!!

Someone keeps telling me it’s going to be canceled and that NBC just keeps it around because of the Jay Leno Crap.

But I think that’s wrong. NBC new before they actually canceled Leno it was going to have to be canceled. So I don’t think keeping Mercy has anything to do with it.

I think it’s a fantastic show with great ratings.

Mercy is my favorite!!! There are very talented actors/actresses in this show! Hopefully somehow, the cancellation will be reconsidered !

I have been watching this show since it started in September and I love it more and more every time! I really hope that NBC picks it up for a second season. It’s just a breath of fresh air! It’s so addicting too. I love the characters, the scenarios, and everything seems right about it. It’s my favorite show and I never miss it!

Mercy is one of my favorite shows. Im glad to see it’s going to stick around for a while. The character’s are rich with personality and it would be a shame to end it early. I hope the ratings pick up.

Chloe threw her flowered dress in the trash in the last episode and said she would no longer wear flowered dresses. Those dresses where the highlight of the show. I don’t know if I can even watch it anymore. I’ll just have to hope for flashbacks of those dresses.

I love Mercy but think it should be in a later time slot because of the adult nature of the show. 8pm is way to early!

I agree with Martha. 8 pm is a dreadful time for this show. It definitely needs a 9 or 10 pm slot. But kudos to the writers for having created the most interesting and -real- cast of characters on television this season.

DO NOT CANCEL MERCY! it’s such a GREAT show with excellent and talented actors/actresses and awesome story lines! I’m soo addicted to this show and it would be just awful if it got cancelled! I would be so upset.

and by the way, maybe the ratings aren’t so high because the time it comes on is when people are just driving back from work. i don’t watch this show on the television because i’m too busy with school and all, but right when the next episode comes on hulu.com i jump on the laptop to watch it! Mercy rules.

I absolutely love Mercy and will be really crushed if it get’s cancelled!! It has such a good cast and storyline!! It is definately one of the better hospital drama shows if everyone will just give it a chance, they’ll love it too!!

Please do not cancel the show! My boyfriend and I were disappointed to see Minute to Win It was broadcast tonight. We love Mercy and look forward to every new episode. I think the show struggled at first to find its feet but we love the character development and the unpredictable predictability of Veronica. Chloe’s scatterbrained behavior is endearing. It seems true-to-life without being a reality show or an over-the-top glammed up unrealistic hospital drama.

Please…Please…PLEASE keep Mercy on!!! My husband and I love this show. We were so upset that it wasn’t on last night (03/31/10). Why would you even consider canceling it?? This is one of the best shows you have going on your network. If you do cancel it, then it will be a COLD DAY IN HELL before I watch anything else on your network. And I have many friends who love this show and they feel the same as we do, that’s saying how much we ALL love Mercy. Please keep something decent on for a change. Don’t you think there are enough GARBAGE shows out there already. That’s why we love Mercy, you brought us in with awesome actors and story lines and now you want to take it away from us!! The other medical shows are stupid, I can’t get into any of them, Mercy has a little bit of everything, it’s the BEST!! Please…I’m begging…..please keep Mercy on!!! Veronica ROCKS!!

I love this show and would be very sad, if they cancel it. A great story and wonderful staff. I’ve had a chance to meet one of the stars personally, mainly Dr. Harris, and he was fun to have around, even it was 22 years ago, when he was just the youngster and with a future ahead of him.

My wife, who is a retired RN, and I love this show. It sure isn’t a reality show, but the relationships between the characters keep us coming back. Can’t wait for the stupid game show that replaced it is done, over with and GONE!

I’m so glad that Mercy isn’t being canceled! I keep hearing that it’s been getting low ratings and that it probably wouldn’t last, which made me just a little depressed. It’s such a funny show! I’ve never understood why people complain so much about Veronica. Sure, she has issues. Would we keep watching if she didn’t? I think the show is fairly brilliant, and there’s so much promise left in it! It would be an absolute shame to cancel it so soon.

Keep this show on and stop with the hiatus. Give people a chance to get to know the show. Grey’s sucks

I love the show Mercy. I think that it as just the right of edge and humor. My sister was bragging about Mercy being cancelled because she likes Nurse Jackie. Now I’m going to be bragging that Mercy was sign for 31 more episodes. besides, I am really get sick of reality shows. I like the drama/diversity that Mercy brings. So keep up the good work.

Mercy deals intelligently with the subject of PTSD — and what could be more timely?

The show is getting stronger. The cast has become a true ensemble, the writing is spot-on, and the characters are multidimensional.

I, for one, hope they give it a chance to grow. There is enough mindless television. Let’s have something that presents a challenge.

Mercy is one of the better shows on tv & balances out a lot of crappy ones that seem to just on and on. I record it every week so I don’t miss a minute of it. Each actor is excellent & there’s so much going on, I can’t imagine it being taken off. Also, it gives you insight on some issues that we might not think about, such as the doctors who are involved in the war, along with so many others.

Please do not cancel Mercy. I looooooooooooove this show. It is my favorite!!

I have never been interested in any type of medical show – but I LOVE LOVE Mercy. I get surprisingly sad when I think of it being cancelled. Thanks for getting us hooked!!!

I just read today that “Mercy” is cancelled. NOOOOOO! I’m like Lindsay, it is the only show I truly get excited about watching every week. With all the unbelievably stupid programming out there, can’t we keep this one fantastic show???? I love “Mercy”!

If mercy had lower ratings than you would like, look to the amount of promo it recieved. The writers and actors did an outstanding job creating amazing memorable characters, hope to see it come back.

Love the show! Good, intellegent writing, with a unique story line, and characters you care about. Way better than all the stupid reality shows that now fill the public airways. I do not have cable TV so my choices are very limited. Thank goodness for Mercy and Parenthood!
