Ghost Whisperer gets cancelled and it´s a surprising piece of news since the show was quite good and solid, and there was an unofficial confirmation of Ghost Whisperer renewal we even fell for it.

They didn’t make it, it says above that it WAS cancelled. Sad, upset, and pissed off! I love that show! I’m irritated that they cancel good shows and keep the lame ones. No point in going in to which ones suck, the more we complain the longer they keep the stupid shows. I am seriously dissatisfied!

It’s my favorite show and has been for the past 2 years, it has a great cast and storyline…all it needs is a decent time slot. Think about it, CBS aired it on Friday’s at 8pm when most people are out having fun, if I were ABC I would renew the show and replace it with a slot time of FlashForward and advertise it.

Please DO NOT cancel Ghost Whisperer! I really like the show and the actors and know others that like it too. Take off some of the dumb shows, ones which I will not name because a lot of us know which ones they are. Let those of us that DO like Ghost Whisperer continue to enjoy it.

Ghost Whisperer had become silly and annoying during this last season with all the nonsense about “shadows” and capitalizing on Melinda’s son’s appeal. Medium is so much better so I am glad that succeeded.

I am really disappointed at the cancellation of Without a Trace, Numbers, and Cold Case and if Criminal Minds or any of the CSI’s are cancelled, I do believe I will begin watching another network. I am so sick and tired of “Reality” shows and really enjoyed the drama and the intelligence shown in the above shows. It really doesn’t take a rocket scientist to watch a realilty show about someone losing weight, or building a house or surviving to earn money. On the other hand, the above shows made you think. This is just one more way to dumb down the Americans you enjoy watching television after a hard day at work and the children are in bed. Please reconsider your cancellations and allow the viewers to chose their own enjoyment.

My kids and I are all very upset that CBS cancelled Ghost Whisperer! We looked forward to watching it every Friday night! It makes no sense them cancelling it especially since it has good ratings and it’s shown on several other networks in syndication. I guess we will just have to watch reruns on other networks now. Maybe one of those will pick it up and start showing new episodes…wishful thinking

Please do NOT cancel Ghost Whisperer. Not only is it good television, but those of us who have had unnerving experiences find it very thought provoking. Please rethink and move it to another night if necessary.
You seem to be out of touch as to what your audience likes. The good shows you cancel and the crapy ones you keep. I will be watching other networks this fall. Ghost whisper is an excellent show, so is Miami Medical,but Survivor stays guess you don’t have to pay the participants as much as the actors. Dog eat dog shows are cheap to produce and I don’t enjoy them at all. If this was a real survivor situation you would work together not plot against each other. I hope someone picks up these shows. You really have some kept shows that are very inferior. They are very dumb. Good shows you cancel, dont know if you have a clue what people enjoy.
I liked ghost wisperer, until they advanced it five years. sam is called jim clancy who everyone knows died. but it looked like jims hospital ID has sams face. jim did’t exist any more so why use his name.

I began watching Ghost Whisperer with my best friend when I was pregnant with my daughter. It got to the point that I had all my friends and family addicted to this show.
I think it is horrible how tv stations lead viewers on and then completely cut a show off just when its getting good-” will and grace, charmed, now ghost whisperer”

Please pick up Ghost Whisperer ABC! I did not care for the kid in the show last season but the show is so well done and entertaining. I thought it would have endured for a minimum of 8 years. This is shocking news.
Ghost Whisperer should have not been cancelled.. I expected it to go at least 2 more seasons…. CBS sucks! And shame on ABC for not picking it up…. both networks are headed down.
Looked forward to Ghost Whisperer each week. There are so many unanswered questions. I enjoyed seeing the closure made between the “ghost” and their friends or family members. I can also feel a great connection between the actors, which is really nice. It’s a great show. I’d love to see it return. Thank you.

Have you lost your minds, this is the best show since Charmed and when that was cancelled I was heartbroken, but at least they had they some concideration to finish the story. I feel this is unjust and that there is way to many reality shows on. If this really happens theres gonna be nothing interesting left to watch. There is no possible reason anyone should have to cancell this. It was a hit, it had a huge fan base and now what are we supose to watch?
Please do not cancell ghost whisperer, This is the one show that my late husband and I used to watch faithfully on Friday nights. If you cancel it I do not know what I am going to do. You see I believe that there are people out there that can speak to the dead and watching this show has helped me feel that someday I will meet someone to help me find out what happen to my husband.

It is really a shame that the TV line-up consists of crime shows and reality TV. Ghost Whisperer was different, and my family looked forward to watching every Friday from season 1. It was a great combo with Medium. One of the networks need to pick it up. Sorry there isn’t any real violence or sex, etc. but there was suspense and a great story line. I think it wasnt’ a good idea to kill Jim off and bring him back in someone else’s body but we hung in there and made it thru that. Please reconsider and renew Ghost Whisperer. May be a facebook page to save Ghost Whisperer will work!

Please don’t take this show off the air. I am a female, married, in my 30’s and this is my husband’s and my favorite show to watch together. It is SUCH a good show and I think it would do better if you maybe put it into a different slot or something. You have to keep this show on the air, it’s so good and Jennifer Love Hewitt is such an amazing actress, it would be a shame if CBS lost her. I love all the actors on this show and am SOO saddened by the news that it is cancelled. You seem to have a lot of unhappy fans of the show…I truly hope that’s enough to make you realize what a mistake you are making CBS!!

I am sad that Ghost Whisperer was cancelled, my mom and I watched it every Friday night. Although, I sort of saw this coming when they had Jim and Melinda have a child with the same or similar abilities as Melinda.
I think if they hadn’t brought in Aiden, we might have had a sixth season.
Ghost Whisper was one of my favorite shows and I don’t understand why a successful show whould get cancelled. In fact I used to watch it Medium and Numbers. It was my Friday night. As a science teacher Numbers was great to get kids to understand complicated science, but you cancelled it too. What a screw up on CBS.

I love ghost whisperer i still watch all three showing on ION everyday even though they are older. I was counting down the days until the new shows. Please don’t cancel its one of my favorite shows. A lot of my family members would be disappointed to hear the news if you don’t pick this back up. I would say it would be a HUGE mistake.

I think it stinks that they cancelled Ghost Whisper! This is one of the only shows my 15 year old and I absolutly love watching together.I wish you would keep it on it is one of my favorite shows.
I think this tottaly sucks that ghost whisper is cancelled!!! I looked forward to friday night TV because of that show I have been watching this show from the begining I am really disappointed, and now there is nothing else that is interesting on TV for friday nights. I think you guys made a very bad decision by doing this and you have lost a viewer for that!
I only started watching Ghost Whisperer last season. I became so enthralled with the story and characters I had to catch up and bought all the previous season DVD’s! Also bought time on an internet site to catch up to any shows on the 5th season that I missed! I agree with many that the friday night time slot was a problem. Also the 5th season story lines were not as good, so I could see why the fan base dropped. I think that with a renewed story line, new powers for Aiden ( new actor also) a new ghost helper, renew the relationship with Melinda’s mother, have Jim find a ghost helper in the hospital, bring back Gabriel etc. etc. Perhaps revamp the story to include the unexpected which kept the series so original. I am soooooo sad that my favorite series has been cancelled!!!!! It brought me back to TV and I will be watching GW reruns for a while and then…back to watching movies instead! Please bring GW back!!!
While I am sad that GW has been cancelled, I have to agree with the previous posters in saying that the last season is what did it in. If ABC does renew it they will need to take the storyline back and focus mainly on Melinda, not so much on her all of a sudden 6 year old, creepy little son??? I have watched GW from the begining and I have to say I did lose interest last season. I hope it is picked up by another network but as I said they really need to re evaluate the storyline.
And PS I do not agree that the friday night time slot was an issue. Most of us work fridays, curl up to watch tv friday nights. Sat night at 8pm would be an issue!!! Just sayin’

that’s the worst news i have heard in a long time. i loved the show and always looked forward to the next week, and Melinda’s tears were very expressing happiness for the one’s left behind. why not get rid of medium, which is rather boring if you ask me.

I am shocked and disappointed that Ghost Whisperer. The same holds true for Numbers. CBS had replaced NBC as my favorite network. Some of the new shows that I have seen thus far are questionable. But,time will tell.

With Lone Star getting cancelled, they can always pick up Ghost Whisper and fill the slot. No disappointments there! It’s always been a very solid show for the last 5 seasons. well, well, well, another great show down the drain. i will not be watching cbs network again. abc if you want to pick up alot of new and old viewers i would be really working on picking this great show ghost whisperer up. cbs is going down hill from what i gather. all of my family watched this show, and believe me that is a great many viewers in my area. so we all have decided to boycot cbs. no more watching their network. so goodluck with that decission you made, hope it was good one, for your sakes.

I loved the show for a while, then it got into the whole “Shinies” and “Shadows”….Most of the time I was sitting on my couch with a WTF face. The kid, Aiden, killed the show. Like two episodes were about slutty Ned. I’ll miss it, but I think I’ll live.
This was one of my favorite shows-my entire family would get together and watch GW every friday-it was the only show we couldn’t miss-I agree with everyone that you made a mistake by cancelling this show-most of my family and friends watch this show-please reconsider putting it back on!

Honestly, it really doesn’t matter to me which network brings Ghost Whisperer back, but I do ask that somebody does. This show is one of the few that my family really does enjoy. It would be a shame to lose a good drama/suspense show such as this.

Ghost Whisper was fun to watch from the start and it was interesting to hear another person point of view into there death and at one point, We where left in the Dark until the last 20 minutes of the show and it took forever for The Star of the show to have a child and that tease had cost ratings, The false Positive and then later after her husband Dies and his body or soul is given to another man, Well it is creepy and you can still Find Ghost Whispers on cable reruns is all that they play but it is better then nothing and the only way, They can bring back the show if there are more children in the story line and then that will bring something that would be on the table for 4 shows and maybe a little girl instead of one hit family. Children Keep shows alive and gives us another angle to look at. Yes I Liked it to some degree but I got tired of waiting for the children to come and the story line was alright but I wanted it to go to another level.
Ghost Whisper could be saved if that lady has twins and add on to the family that will create more of a story line to it and then of course people love it when family is being added on to the story line, Is the Son we are going to get or will they add on more family and create a story line, Yes I love the powers and yes the thrill of not knowing but it would be nice to pump in new blood.
ABC should pick the show up because it is epic and has a huge fan base!

I don’t believe it!!!!! Ghost Whisperer is CANCELLED!!! Well this is just not right. Why would they keep the crappy shows…way too many to list….and cut the ONE good one they air. I wait every week to see what happens…let’s face it people…there is very few entertaining and relatively good programs on TV now and with this news…very disapoining. I say cut some of those stupid, crappy, all the same reality shows and keep something that actually makes people happy. 🙁
This really is becoming a stinky station first they cancel Guiding Light the only daytime I watched and the only evening show that I watch Ghost Whisperer. I just don’t get it. CBS – whoever is responsible for your programming should find work somewhere else. You had a great show with “Moonlight”. Then you put Alex O’Laughlin in one of the lamest shows that has ever been written “Three Rivers”. Now he’s in a remake and you cancel “Ghost Whispere” that has a huge following and was practically the only interesting show on Friday night. CBS deserves to have the lowest ratings – your programming is pathetic.

Wow. I’ve been waiting for the season premiere to air for Ghost Whisperer, until just now. I decided to look online for a date since we are mid October already, and much to my surprise, it’s been cancelled? There isn’t a show I enjoy more than Ghost Whisperer, and this is a sad turn of events. Every season I thought it would be impossible to enjoy it more than the last and yet every season, there would be a new twist, and I would once again be astounded at the creativity that the writers and producers expressed through this show. It was truly one of a kind, and I can’t tell you how very disappointed and annoyed I am with the choices that have been made by this network.
I was just like Andrea waiting, and waiting to see or hear when Ghost whisperer will be on again and just to my surprise it is canceled…..CBS….Really…….. you just lost another viewer. That was the only good show they had since Medium was a rip off of ghost whisperer.
I really hope that ABC picks GW up beause it is a great show. I always made sure my DVR was set and even love watching reruns. I love the cast and hope it comes back!!
I am so upset that CBS cancelled Ghost Whisperer…first Moonlight and now Ghost Whisperer…I’m with the others, CBS is clueless as to what the viewers want to see, their programming sucks and they need to bring someone in who actually has a clue! Like others, i went looking for when the new season was starting up because I hadn’t seen it. Yet again, they pull a great show. Hey maybe they can create another sucky reality show that has no heart, no morals and merely promotes people’s baser instincts. If i need to be reminded people are shallow and self involved i need only go out. TV is suppose to let me believe we can strive to be better. BUT since the folks that seem to be calling the shots are only shallow and self-involved money whores we get to be reminded they have no concern for us. No wonder people keep gravitating to the other networks like USA, TNT, ION, etc. Those stations get that we want to watch these shows. Just foolish.

BIG mistake on CBS’ part. They picked up Medium and let Ghost Whisperer go down the tubes. I love the show but even I have to admit the last season was not up to their normal standards. Easy fix- get new writers. I hope ABC makes CBS regret their decision. Everyone should write to ABC and push them to sign on Ghost Whisperer.

I rarely watch TV. I usually read, but two season ago I started watching Ghost Whisperer and was hooked. Just look, 130 people on this website alone are commenting. I found this site because I finally googled to see when the new season was finally going to start. Never apparently.
What a huge disappointment.
It was the same for me Laura! I just started watching Ghost Whisperer last year. I was so hooked I bought all 4 seasons and actually on my way to buy the 5th. The same thing happened with me and another show I really enjoyed, Legend of the Seeker! I began watching that show towards the middle of the first season then they cancelled after season 2! I am very disappointed about this. You just start feeling like you are part of the show, part of the family then they just rip you out! Hopefully this new show Jennifer is starring in will be just as good. Haven’t read much about it yet.
GW first started to die when Ned grew up suddenly. They should have kept the original actor and let him grow naturally. Other key turning points… Jim dying and coming back in another body, all these stupid shadow and demonic things (GW becoming a remake of the Exorcist or Amityville??), and finally her kid… I don’t even remember her being pregnant… lol
If ABC brings it back they had better go back to Melinda just helping out normal folks with their ghostly problems… or is that too boring by todays “standards”.

I don’t understand how you can cancel a GREAT show?? I watched every Friday and now I just watch Medium and turn. You didn’t give Ghost Whisperer a series finale or anything why? You cancelled one of the best shows on your network and kept the ones that aren’t any good, why? Did you poll the audience before you did this? I see this network has no CLUE who watches what, if they did they would see that canceling GHOST WHISPERER was a HUGE mistake. I think they should bring it back and they would see their RATINGS jump in the right direction. Just a thought!!!

GW was a down to earth show in a down to earth town with really great actors dealing with paranormal which by the way Im not a fairyman helping others cross over but i do see ghost truly miss it wish it would come back no who’s cheating on who or whose car is parked next door very watchable for aall ages you need to rethink this decision CBS or better yet jump on it ABC
lFriday nights will not be the same without Ghost Whisperer. It was a solid show and a regular in our home. I have been waiting and waiting to see it and much to my dissapointment I find out it is cancelled. Please bring it back I know there are 1000’s of other GW fans out there who think the same.

It is an excellent program, It showed the love of Melinda for the Ghosts and their families. Melinda is a sensible character full of love. She is a truly representative of a person who has a gift. So extremely disappointed that Ghost Whisperer has been cancelled. There is such garbage on tv currently and you have cancelled a great show. The writing and characters were amazing over the last 5 seasons – I was always surprised at where they took the viewers. A real empty spot now in our Friday nights!!

They need to fire the script writers if Ghost Whisperer has a chance. The first 2 seasons were very good, then things started going downhill. Okay, I could take Jim coming back from the dead and possessing another body.
But then the writers dumped a lackluster role of their suddenly appearing child, whose acting abilities are… zip, with no thought or plot besides some idea of “shinies” which is totally ridiculous. I mean, most people accept the possibility of ghosts… but shinies are so far out there… might as well have aliens come and land and ask Melinda for help with their own ghosts.
The writers have dug the plot into a hole that they can’t escape from in a new series unless they kill off the kid and make him into a ghost.
I am very surprised and upset that Ghost Whisperer was cancelled. It was a great show…How I think it should have ended? It shouldn’t. It shouldn’t end and it definatley should NOT have been cancelled…I am VERY disappointed…

Ghost Whisperer is my favorite show. I watch it everyday. Please re new the show. It is an amazing show. I love Paranormal shows and most of the other shows and movies aren’t as good as The Ghost Whisperer. CBS used to be one of my favorite channels to watch shows, but i don’t like it anymore. It was stupid to have Jim shot and killed and leave Melinda all sad stuck with Sam. I love all the drama. PPPLLEEEAAASSSEE re-new the show!!!

Yet I find it very absurd that you would choose to keep a show like Meduim with a drunk, belligerant, crooked intentioned (i dont know if this the right word to call her but)…woman, like Allison Dubios who Meduim is portraying. As you can most definitely see…she is a complete mess. References such as her saying to someone “I can tell the bitch how she dies( and laughs) and tell her what happens to her whole family.”& “I dont care!” And CBS…you want to back a show like this. I think everyone should just ban watching anything on CBS, I think they took any show worth watching off and left the bottom of the earth scum shows on. I will no longer support that channel.

Maybe now that Wonder Woman will be on cable tv, not the theater, you will be given a more thorough, detailed look at playing WW/ diana price.

I honestly would never have heard about it if that marathon the other day didn’t come on, but it was going to be my new favorite show, since I’m personally not at all amused by the mindless idiocracy they play on television such as that horrid “jersey shore”… And from what Michael has said, CBS hasnt been making all that great of renewal choices…
A drunk protagonist? Are we trying to catch attention of drunkards, nasty, creul, and rude people whom the shows protagonist’s Personality mirrors to watch the show?? That would be horrible. Especially subjecting people to watch it… It’s a bit like making PETA watch hunting game shows…

I like to watch all different kinds of channels. I love ID, which is ivestigtion discovery. I have been looking for the new season to come out and it still hasn’t. This show has kind of been my way to escape for an hour, including Cold Case. They are both interesting and the great thing is, you can just lounge and watch or try to figure it out as the facts come in more and more. I have some taped on my DVR so I can still watch it, because sometimes there is a movie in the time slot and I have a very active and analytical way of thinking. I think this show and cold case and even a show likw Bones, keeps you wondering til the very end. Which is the same in SVU and Cold Case. I wonder if we could do a roswell kind of thing. To make sure they knew how much fans loved the show that they would send the network tabasco because that was such a big part of the series and how they like things really spicy or sweet and they used it on most everything they ate. And it worked, they ended up doing a third season and got to evolve the characters and close up the loose ends that were still there if they just left it at the second half.

GHOST Whispers is strange and weird to be able to talk to the dead but Jennifer Love Hewit can really sing her ass off and She is Beautiful and lovely and nice and funny and she is still on T.V. but what made the story line fail for me was her not having more then one child, That really frustrated me and made me not want to watch her show any more and Yes I understand that she did not want to pass her drama to other kids and she was married for years and it is a big waste of time to stay married to some one who will not increase the family more then once.

Butler who Played in 300 was really Hot and Sexy and Spicy and yummy, His Thighs alone was Really supper Hot and that lady is lucky to have his arms wrapped around her and of course I had to see every movie the man made, Which I did not know him as a actor until he took his cloths off for 300 and his ass is so kiss-sa-ble and his chest you just want to melt into it like butter but, I often go to free movies here in Seattle with my friends. Throw two free papers the Weekly and Stranger.
