Cancelled Shows 2010: CBS renews Medium

That is jacked up you cbs would cancels cold Case that in top 20 when shows like Mediem, Ghost whisper etc.., are lower in the ratings that is not fair or cool these shows should been canceled I think you think what you did. please put CC back on give an 8th full season or sell it to NBC, ABC like you bought Mediem show please think about it

Yes,yes,yes!!!Thanks CBS for saving Medium! We were thrilled when you picked it up last year and even more thrilled to hear you have renewed it. My husband told me 2 days ago that it was cancelled and we were totally bummed. That is our Friday night (date) show and the only thing keeping us watching on Fridays. I’m bummed that Num3ers and Cold Case weren’t renewed as well because we DVR’d them and watched them on Saturday night so looks like we’ll have to go else where to get our entertainment and have our date night after Medium is over. Ya I know it’s pathetic to some we do tv for date night but we have a son and we enjoy it.;)
You kept me around for another year at least for an hour so I hope you bring something outstanding to Friday nights line up or we’ll be gone along with Medium! Good move keeping Medium! Terrible move for cancelling Num3bers and Cold Case!!!

YEA!!! Medium is renewed!!! I agree with all of the cancellations this year, and am thankful that my favorite shows (Medium and Lie to Me) got past the bubble stage. Hurray!!

Thank you for making a great decision! Medium is still one of my favorite shows, especially with more shows based on the two older girls who are great actresses. There are WAY too many reality shows on TV. I hate them! Medium is one of the few shows that I watch on your network.

I am glad that “Medium” apparently has been renewed. I do wish Cold Case Files and Numbers had been renewed. They were both very good shows. Please, please don’t ever think of canceling Criminal Minds.

One of the biggest mistakes, in my opinion, is letting Moonlight go. If there is any chance of getting Alex O’Loughlin and cast back together, put this show back on the air. It was terrific.

All my favorite shows were on they are beginning to dwindle down.
Come on CBS, keep the great shows you have and bring back the others.

Glad to know that CBS has some brains in upper management and is keeping “Medium.” I’ve watched it since its premiere on NBC and still love it. It’s the only show I watch on Friday night. Thanks CBS and I hope you realize not everyone in the US wants to watch stupid reality shows!!

Yay!!!! So happy Medium got renewed. It is my favorite show on TV (since LOST is now gone). Big thumbs up to CBS for renewing it! I was so bummed last year when NBC cancelled it and thrilled when CBS bought it. Worried it was going to end this year and happy to see another season. Thank You, CBS! And the awesome cast of Medium! This is a great family and I love how they interact together and all the characters!

Just watched the season finale of Medium and I thought it was very, very well done. Delighted to google renewal news and find that it has been renewed. It’s a good show but has had some rather strange episodes this year. Hope they will have a team of good writers and another successful season. Wonder what Alison’s hair style this season will be?! Thank you CBS.

We love Medium! Good move, CBS; thanks for saving it. I have missed it all summer. Can hardly wait for the new season. Medium is the best drama. If I miss it, I get all bummed out. Alison and Joe have good chemistry. The family is fresh and believable. The dialog is good. The plots are usually pretty good. I believe in psychic dreams, so I like watching a series about it. I hope the cast and crew are happy. You have a great show.

Is that earlier post right? Do we have to wait until November to watch the new shows!? I thought the new season started in December!? The Facebook page needs updating, so people can find out when the new shows start.

I can’t understand renewing this most boring of shows and canceling Ghost Whisperer & Numbers. Medium is tedious. No reason to watch TV on Friday nights now, at least not CBS shows. Boring!

I’ve always been a little worried that I LOVE Medium… it’s supposed to be a chick show but it’s always really clicked with me. Maybe I need a testostorine level check.

I really don’t have that many “must watch” shows but Medium has always been one of them for me. Thanks for keeping this really unique show alive.

I am so glad you’ve kept Medium!! I love this show and when I read somewhere it was cancelled I was devatated. It’s greatto see that it was not true. I hate stupid tv shows and Medium is one of the only shows I really love watching that’s not about the hottest people or sex scenes, whatever things other shows add just to get more ratings. It’s too bad numbers and cold case are gone but VERY happy Medium remains!!! Yay!!

Yes it was our “date night” tv show as my husband works all week and when he gets home around 8:30 or 9:00 I have it on the DVR and we have something to watch together. YEAH! Love Medium

I love this show!! I’m sad to see it go, it has a wholesomeness to it in spite of some of the grisly stuff, love that it is a family, not just another police type show.

Every episode has been unique. Not many shows can say that. Most are standard formula mediocrity like Numbers or contrived formula forced phony emotion like Ghost Whisperer. I understand that ratings decide the shows fate. I am not surprised that good shows like Medium get canceled. USA TV watchers love thoughtless mediocrity and reality TV. Remember the cancelation of Journeyman and Moonlight?

I like all of them . I dont like ghost whisperer. Medium, cold case, and numbers r really my fav. They always cancel these shows and replace them with crap. Some stupid reality show.I dont get it.

We also watch Medium via DVR…..Are you people counting us? We just did a Nielsen Ratings Survey and they chose Thanksgiving week the Thursday prior up until Thanksgiving Day. Half the shows were re-runs and the other half we had to DVR to have time to watch them all. But it did include DVR programs…One included Medium that we always watch via DVR! Why a holiday week? I always wondered how they chose people for Nielsen Ratings, now I know it’s all biased!

CBS, you have the most ratings every week from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday night slot, are your executives sipping too much spiked egg nog? What a dumb move by a usually smart network. This show is fantastic with an A plus cast.

My husband and I are huge fans of the show Medium. Please don’t cancel the show. I look forward to watching it every Friday night and tuning in to see what the Dubois Family is up. Please keep it running- it’s a really great show. I DVR it when we can’t watch when its on that has to count for something. Please renew it and keep it on. There are so few really excellent show anymore, this is the exception!! The cast is awesome !!!!

I love this show. Please renew it. One of the best written dramas I have ever watched. Wonderful stories and the actors are so good. I will be so happy when you announce that the show will start again. I was looking all over for it tonight and didn’t even realize it had been canceled as I have been watching the reruns, etc. Thank you so much for bringing it back.

Please do not cancel Medium!! I tune into this show every week and I also DVR it for my teenage daughter to watch. I stay home on Friday nights with my wine and popcorn and nothing and no one can move me until after I’ve watched this show.
It may seem pathetic that I am attached to this show – but the Dubois family seem like real people that the average person can relate too. Each member has there own dramas dependent on their stage in life.
I can’t stand anymore so called reality television. This show is both entertaining and heart-warming.

love cold case and medium!!!!! just started watching ghost whisperer. get me hooked on all these shows then pull em away. withdrawal symptoms galore. the shows took my mind away from my problems, of course entertaining, appealing actors etc. well make up your mind and whats on in 2011?

CBS makes room for another reality show–like what? I realize reality TV is cheaper than a weekly TV series especially when CBS has the opportunity to give us another show full of disfunctional adults one hour every week trashing and stabbing each other in the back in the name of winning the million dollar prize. Or make it’s another cop drama ripoff of SVU? At any rate hopefully one of the cable channels (my weekly viewing preference) will pickup Medium. I only watched three shows on CBS (after next week it will be two) and the rest are brainless clones like Survivor. (Someone should cancel that show–it got old after the second season.)

Can’t believe you canceled Medium! It’s bad enough that you canceled Numbers. And to make matters worse you switch Blue Bloods to Wednesdays. Now I have nothing to watch on Friday nights. Guess I have to watch Shows on NBC or ABC. Is there any way Medium can be renewed?

I was thrilled when CBS saved Medium from the chopping block. But now after only 13 episodes it is cancelled. The almighty younger audience determines what airs on TV and I am fed up with it. Apparently CBS does not care about the Boomer audience, a big mistake. I will miss this wonderful program and all the actors who make up the Medium family.

This is the 3rd time when I have really liked a Friday CBS show.
What is wrong with you people? You cancel Joan of Arcdia, Ghost Whisperer and now Medium.
And add another cop show? Come on, listen to your viewers. CBS has always been a leader among the big 3 networks. This will just drive alot of people to cable and satellite to watch re-reuns of the shows you have cancelled.
one more suggestion, no more cop shows and reality shows, both are saturating TV and you can only use the same idea so many times before people start being board.

I am disappointed that Medium is no longer going to be on tv. Why are all the big tv networks getting rid of good shows and giving us shows like ON THE MAP. Give me a break. Isn’t there enough medical shows. I want a show that has something special. Shame on the networks for not beliving in great tv.

I didn’t know it was being cancelled until I watched the series finale tonight. I was a fanatical Friday night viewer with Ghost Whisperer-Medium-Numbers now all three are gone. I stayed with Medium CSI NY and Blue Bloods and was almost happy again with Friday night at CBS.. well that’s over Back to Friday nights on Facebook or ABC NBC hope your sponsors will be happy with all the lost viewers.

I am sick about the cancellation of Medium. I love, love, love that show. It’s my favorite of all the shows available to me. I always watch or DVR it. I think it is a crappy decision to cancel this show. I am already having withdrawals thinking that there will be no new Medium. I despise the reality shows! They are crap that can’t be watched if your children could come through the room. But I won’t watch them anyway. Their characters have NO depth.
THE ONLY THING I WOULD HAVE CHANGED—TURN ON THE LIGHTS–I HAD A HARD TIME SEEING THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE.

I loved Medium, I will miss it a lot, it had a loving family, was it too like a family should be. Maybe a network will bring it back…..you know it was all a dream.

Medium was one of my very favorite shows and I’m just sick it was cancelled. I didn’t know until I watched the final episode last
night, which was very good by the way. I’m so sad it’s over!

I’m done with CBS. So sad to see that Medium was canceled. This was the last of my favorite shows that CBS has thrown away. Guess i don’t have a reason to watch CBS any longer.

I guess all good things must come to an end but this end was far too premature. I am not an avid Television watcher however Medium has roped my attention from the begining. Say what you want about the similar structure of each episode but I enjoyed that sense of solidity. It grounded the characters and allowed for their quirky personalities to shine. Patricia Arquette is amazing and Jake weber was the most supportive husband. Ok enough gushing over my loss and every other fans…Dubois family you will be missed…One more thing how can a show like Friends be on for so long and Medium gets canned…COME ON PEOPLE!!! Somebody better get it together in TV land or Oprah will buy your network and cancel you!…the end..lol

I watched medium “on demand” last night and was shocked when I realized it was the last show. I was completely traumatized! The show was my favorite. I even cried! Can we bring it back and Allison can just wake up from a bad dream? 🙁

I have my DVR set to record Medium every Friday night! There is NOTHING worth watching on Friday nights so this is the only show I do watch and now CBS has screwed up my Friday’s! It’s one of the few decent shows left! I am sick to death of the reality shows and others like it clogging up the good slots!

Why are all of the TV stations pulling the good shows? I miss ER, LOST and now Medium! It’s getting to a point where I won’t even watch local channels anymore because all that is left is CRAP!!

i wish i had known medium was going to be cancelled. the last show really upset me. and then i see this and cold case was cancelled too. this blows. now there are only two shows i watch on your channel. someone pointed out something that would work… you could bring medium back as a bad dream of alison’s. it worries me all that all the good entertainment is being replaced by crap.

Why would CBS cancel such a wonderful show with all the trash that is on TV? Medium not only had wonderful story lines but showed how families should behave, parents who loved and respected each other and loved their children. I think that is what I will miss most of all. I am a huge fan of Medium.I too was totally blown away that it will no longer be on . I live in a small town in Ar. I have talked to at least 50 people that agree with me that CBS will no longer be a network watched in our home.It was so nice to sit down and actually watch a show that had heart.I guess that CBS doesn’t care if the people that have been devoted to their network are happy or not.If the Medium doesn’t come back to CBS then neither do I!

I was also very upset with CBS for cancelling Medium. They changed stations and then changed the night it was on. Did they ever think maybe people was having a hard time finding it? When Medium first came on the air, we loved it. But as the series progressed the story lines of bringing in the kids having the same powers it just became on the point of unbelieveable. I loved the relationship with her and her hubby. Also it was refreshing to see a woman protrayed with normal clothing and a house not right out of Good Housekeeping. But the storylines I thought got tedious. We stopped watching so it will not be missed in my book. Now Moonlighting and Numbers is another thing. Loved the shows and hated to see them cancelled. Same goes for Rubicon, but I guess I love the quirkly.

big bang theory is one of my favor shows it would be nice if cbs would put that show back on mondays and put rule of engagement on thursday oh an enough with all the cop show(hawii 50,blue cops)in the end they are all doing the samething enough.

Well it’s the 3rd of June 2011 and I”m still having “Medium” withdrawals.

I watched an old episode the other day and dreamed of when there was actually something
entertaining on the “brain dead activity” we call watching television.

What has happened to the world today?

I so do miss Mediums twisted story lines coupled with the very realistic every day shenanigans of family life.

Television today is so dictated by ratings, budgets, marketing and fads.
Where has the humility gone? The soul?

What puzzles me is how a show like “Two and a Half Men” can continue to run?
Who the hell would waste their precious time watching such rubbish?

At the end of the day, all we can do now is look back with fondness, a show that brought back
an element of wholesomeness and a realistic look into how families actually are.

Some times it is hard trying to throw yourself into a show and wonder what direction the story line is taking and wonder if your going to follow throw in looking at the master piece that is being put together…But anything is worth a second look?

I think you should bring medium bake and ghost whisperer. you take the good shows and you replace them with reality shows. i’ so tired of nothing being on tv but reality shows. i related to medium and ghost whisperer. it helped me understand myself. bring them back. the money you pay for those stupid reality shows can pay for shows that people really like and enjoy.
