And this is good news for all those Parks and Recreation Fans, since NBC has decided to renew Parks and Recreation for a thrid season.
What is Parks and Recreation About? – Plot
Parks and Recreation is an American comedy television series. It was co-created by Greg Daniels and Michael Schur, part of the creative team on The Office. Despite initial speculation it would be a spin-off of The Office, the two programs are not related beyond the fact bothshows share a similar mockumentary style. Parks and Recreation has been picked up by NBC for a second season. The show premiered on September 17, 2009 at 8:30 PM ET.
The series follows Leslie Knope, the deputy director of the Parks and Recreation department in the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana. Knope takes on a project with a nurse named Ann to turn an abandoned construction pit into a park, while trying to navigate her way through the local government. On October 23, 2009, the show has received a full second season order.

Please keep this show going. The acting and writing are genius. I had my doubts regarding a show about Parks and Recreation, but was really astonished by it’s clever direction. Everyone in this household LOVES this show.

I was actually hoping that this show would get cancelled b/c it isn’t as funny as it used to be.
I am VERY happy that Parks & Rec is coming back. It gets funnier every year. Very happy to see it was picked up again..
Honestly for those of you who hate the show. You can leave this site right now. Don’t rain on someone else’s parade. I happen to love it. It brings a smile to my face just thinking about past episodes and I for one am glad that its coming back.
I loathe Parks and Recreation. I pray this show will be dumped soon. It’s NOT funny and without Earl I pretty much have NO reason to watch NBC

I love parks and rec it’s definitely one of those shows that had to grow on me but after last season I couldn’t wait for the new season to start and am more than ecstatic that the show is going to have a third season.
Some show really are rushed and if a show is great, the production company kicks it off to put up new no name attention to actors who are not as good as what they took off, like the show I Loved was Cold Case know that show rocked and I could had watched it forever, because you should never run out death and there are millions of Cold Cases that have never been solved and if some of the people choose to leave Cold Case then hirer really Hot replacements and leave in the old cast that want to stay on the show because it was nice to see why people kill, what dumb reason for taking some one life and what I injoyed about Cold Case was letting me know that you will not get away with breaking the law, down the road you are going to get caught, that it can come back to bite you in the ass.

I am sooooo happy this show isn’t cancelled. I didn’t see the new season’s episode on Hulu and was terrified it was cancelled! This show is hilarious and one of my favorite on television right now. Keep it up, Amy!

This show is one of the funniest shows on TV..hands down….My family has never missed an episode and although I rarely see the Office..hear it is very similar…….
The acting is great and it is out loud funny!
Bring Parks and Recreation back to the Thursday night line up. Its great. I like the characters and the plot: it’s about the inner workings of a state government agency, which can be extremely hilliarious, as Parks and Recreation has shown.
My girlfriend and i love this show i own the first and second season on dvd…. i was actually worried that nbc might cancel it due to the fact that the shows humor is a little to in depth for mainstream America. Still i think the writing and acting is genius… i think nbc should give shows like this a better time slots.

I love Parks and Rec and hope they continue to make new seasons. Season 1 was okay, but I thought season 2 was very funny.
Parks and rec is a great show. It seemed a bit strange in the beginning, but once the plot and characters were developed, i was able to really appreciate it! I love the subtle humor, the realistic dialogue and character interactions. The script is written as though the writers are using subtle and at times dry humor and whatever amuses them makes it into the show. So glad it was picked up for another season.
I don’t know why it took me so long to find this show, but I love it! So happy for the 3rd season looking forward to the 4th, 5th etc. 🙂
