We are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of the season.
And today, ABC Family announced the show has been renewed for a third season.
ABC Family President Paul Lee stated during a TCA that The Secret Life of a the American Teenager is renewed for a third season.
It´s not a shocker since the show has been steadily good on the ratings for the network.

The Secret Life of the American Teenager (often shortened to Secret Life) is a television series created by Brenda Hampton. It first premiered on ABC Family on July 1, 2008. The show was renewed for a second season consisting of 24 episodes on February 9, 2009, which began airing on June 22, 2009. The first season focuses on the relationships between families and friends and how they deal with the unexpected teenage pregnancy of character Amy Juergens, who is portrayed by Shailene Woodley. In the second season, Amy Juergens must deal with juggling motherhood and high school, while her family and friends experience relationship challenges of their own.

I am SO excited for the third season!!!! It is my FAVORITE show and I absolutely love it. I only have 3 shows I always watch. And Sercet Life is one of them. I watch Secret Life religously.
BRING BACK KYLE XY. Get rid of this disgusting show. It’s full of terrible acting, and disgusting plots. Seriously? you’re giving teens the message that sex and having babies is a cool thing. It’s your fault the teen pregnancy rate is at an all time high, that along with 16 and pregnant, Teen Mom, and Gossip Girl. Stupid shit like this shouldn’t be on t.v. Bring back good shows like KYLE XY!

I agree with Jessica on bringing back KYLE XY !! It was an awesome show, and didnt get the justice it deserved.. This Secret Life is CRAP !!! and I have banned all ABC Family shows since cancelling Kyle XY.. Secret Life is the same ole crap show but with a girl that got knocked up !! Kyle XY was different..
KYLE XY was awesome! It’s such a shame it wasn’t given a few more seasons!I think Disney/ABC Television should bring it back. It’s one of the best shows they’ve put together!

This is gay bring the show back! I loved it so did my mom we were wondering why it hasn’t been on then I looked it up. If it had great ratings why take it off air? Stupid people.
Why was the secret life cancelled and lincoln heights? I loved those shows
Kyle xy had the biggest potential. We as the teenagers of today may not see things the way ABS does, but seeing Kyle xy, was like watching a life we want. The life of how awesome it would be to be Kyle or the other characters. I do’t agree that you had taken it off air. I guarantee the show would have been very popular if you put it everywhere and not just ABC. I will admit I did not first see Kyle xy on the Abc station. I saw it on YTV. I quickly introduced the show to everyone I spoke with and ended up all being into Kyl xy.
I don’t mean to say you were wrong to end the show, but the way it ended was a failure to your audience. How do you believe us fans or new comers will react to more question unsettled relationships and new problems. It would be smart to end the season finale like this if you plan to come back after a year or two, which I strongly erg. Or to leave us the ending in novels or books or open script.
ABC I really erge you to consider this in behalf of all past, present, and new fans of Kyle xy.
So glad you’re bringing it back! I’ve missed the show dearly. It’s like having your favorite dessert taken away, and even though you crave it ALL the time, you just can’t have it.
And all you people complaining about Kyle XY, I liked the show too but this is the wrong place to basically “blog” about it. This site was meant for Secret Life, I’m sure ABC would love it if you sent them a letter 🙂
Well the reason they stopped Kyle XY is because they didn’t have the money to continue BUT they showed a few clips of the directors talking about how it would have ended. So now even if they did bring it back it’d be ruined because they just gave away everything.
secret life of an american teenager sucks. they cant say an entire sentence without saying sex. abc family only cares about the money. BRING KYLE XY BACK BITCHES!
ok just saying here but ummm…alot of people like this show and alot of people dont if you dont like it dont watch it because the people want to watch it has a right to cause it is a good show it might be a bad for some teenagers to watch but some ways you can learn alot from it just saying i mean if you dont like it then dont watch it and shut up about it that all i gotta say!!!
