We are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of the season.
And this may or may not come as a surprise, but it´s definitely sad news.
ABC has cancelled Ugly Betty, and also trimmed the episode order from 22 to 20.
Fortunately, the writers will have enough time to make a good series finale and not leave everyone hanging after Ugly Betty getting cancelled.

Exec producer Silvio Horta and ABC president Steve McPherson confirmed as much in this joint statement: “We’ve mutually come to the difficult decision to make this Ugly Betty’s final season, and are announcing now as we want to allow the show ample time to write a satisfying conclusion. We are extremely proud of this groundbreaking series, and felt it was important to give the fans a proper farewell.”

i LOVED the show and i was distraught when i heard the news about the cancellation, ill miss it thats for sure!Ive seen the spanish versions of ugly betty( betty la fea)and when i first heard the news that they were going to make it in english i had my tv ready for that day;and since the fisrt episode i was hooked. Ugly betty just made my week, it was a little bit of everything comedie, romance, etc.. ill miss it!!!!

We need to save Ugly Betty. We cannot cancel something when we are a developing storyline, as well as shouldn’t we the viewers see Betty’s full potential. I mean, all her past guys make a comeback but ultimately we know she deserves to be with Daniel and he with her. Why deprieve us of that after you guys have decided to rid us of our Thursday/Friday night special.
Have you ABC reps ever considered maybe why it did so badly in the 3rd season is because u placed it in the wrong slot. I personally think it would have been better in a Tuesday night spot or left it at Thursdays where it started.
Myself along with my friends and neighbours(totaling approx.386 people)tuned in to watch and you exist now no more. We bid you farewell.
