Galavant season two is about to premiere… You´d know what kind of show Galavant is if you watched the first season, and for those who have not watched it, let´s just name the second season premiere, as it is called: EP#201 “A New Season aka Suck It Cancellation Bear”. This means they know how to laugh at themselves and they´ve created a great half hour entertaining show in this musical comedy. Galavant Season Two Premiere is just around the corner.

Galavant season two premiere review: LUKE YOUNGBLOOD, KAREN DAVID, TIMOTHY OMUNDSON, JOSHUA SASSE, MALLORY JANSEN, VINNIE JONES, BEN PRESLEY

GALAVANT – ABC’s “Galavant” stars Luke Youngblood as Sid, Karen David as Isabella, Timothy Omundson as King Richard, Joshua Sasse as Galavant, Mallory Jansen as Madalena, Vinnie Jones as Gareth and Ben Presley as Jester. (ABC/Bob D’Amico)

Galavant is a rare show for Broadcast Prime Time, but it is such a welcome addition. Galavant Season Two six episodes will run during January in back to back episodes Sundays, starting on January 3rd, then 10th and then 17th. So it´s kinda like binge watching.

Season one ended with King Richard (superbly played by Psych´s Timothy Omundson) and Galavant on a boat plotting a comeback, both to reclaim the throne for the King, as to reuniting with Isabella and Sid for Galavant.

Once enemies King Richard and Galavant are now in a fun bromance and battling for the “Beast beard in the business” award.
Even though the show is supposed to be centuries ago, the self awareness of it, throwing puns at the songs in the show, at their second season, at their failed Emmy campaign, make it even better.

It is by no means a show for everyone… of course it´s no NCIS. But it has and deserves a rabid fanbase of those who get it. And the show plays right for them.

All in all, Galavant Season Two is on my Must Watch List, and if you liked season one, you should add it too, as it is even Galavantier than season one. What do you think? Will you give Galavant Season Two a chance? Let me know your thoughts. Also, follow me on Twitter for more scoop.
