There´s an adage that says when you are losing, lose fast, so you can win again soon. That´s the case on the show joining the lists of renewed shows of 2013 and cancelled shows of 2013 this time, as NBC cancels Do No Harm after only two episodes aired.
NBC is pulling the plug on this high concept drama by cancelling Do No Harm, and bringing in Law & Order SVU repeats to fill the void left in its timeslot.
The show debuted to 3.1 million total viewers and a 0.9 demo rating, making it the lowest-rated, in-season debut of any scripted Big 4 series ever. That alone should be enough to seal the deal of seeing Do No Harm cancelled, but episode two fared even worse, dropping to 2 million viewers. Ouch!
The show has 11 more episodes already filmed in the cans, but the fate of those remaining episodes is unclear, as the network is replacing the show effective immediately with repeats of Law & Order SVU.
