Hub Network, a destination for kids and their families, will broadcast “The 1st Annual Hub Halloween Bash,” a live spooktacular event for the entire family that celebrates Halloween in a ground-breaking television special to be produced by Bob Bain Productions, producers of Fox’s “Teen Choice Awards” and Nickelodeon’s “Kids’ Choice Awards,” it was announced today by Margaret Loesch, President & CEO, Hub Network.

“Since its launch in 2010, Hub Network has staked its claim to Halloween with family friendly, spooky programming that performs extremely well with kids and families,” said Loesch. “Just like the Ball drop every year on New Year’s Eve, we believe this fun tentpole event will be a new cultural phenomenon around Halloween.”

Halloween is one of the nation’s fastest growing and biggest holidays for kids and families. “The 1st Annual Hub Halloween Bash” will celebrate the best of Halloween, including the first-ever nationwide costume competition with one finalist being chosen from every state in America. Hosted by a celebrity to be announced soon, this special Halloween event will also include chart-topping musical performances, celebrity presenters and judges, as well as lots of entertaining tricks and treats for kids and their families.

The live-to-tape special will take place at Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, Calif. and will air on Hub Network in late October. Bob Bain serves as executive producer and Paul Flattery is producer for Bob Bain Productions.
