MTV2 made several announcements today, including one of the renewal for Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family, paired to the announcement of the reinvention of Nick Cannon Wild´N Out and the launching of Guy Court.
Actor and host Nick Cannon will debut the re-imagined improv comedy show “Nick Cannon Presents Wild N Out” on Tuesday, July 9 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT. Joining Nick will be celebrity team captains including comedians Kevin Hart and Lil DuVal of MTV2’s “Guy Code,” professional basketball player Amar’e Stoudemire, along with rappers Mac Miller, 2Chainz, Machine Gun Kelly, A$AP Rocky and Joe Budden.
In Guy Court, a half-hour comedic courtroom series, which will premiere in fall 2013, the laws of manhood will be upheld as some familiar MTV2 faces will determine the guilt or innocence of a variety of cases in accordance with Guy Code. Each real life case will be judged, defended and prosecuted with the perfect combination of comedy and justice. In addition, “Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family,” which recently wrapped its first season as the highest rated original debut season in MTV2 history, will return for a second season as the young music superstar embarks on a series of new adventures in his personal and professional life. The series will begin production later this year and premiere in early 2014.
