Every year, Holiday themed television is entertaining, as we can see in some of the biggest specials, like ABC Family´s 25 Days of Christmas, or on our full and updatable Christmas and Holidays Programming Guide.
But now it´s time for us to review a special for the holidays by NBC and Michael Bublé, set to air on December 10th at 10PM ET where Rod Stewart, Blake Shelton, Carly Rae Jepsen and Elmo will join Bublé as he sings classics from his smash holiday album “Christmas” in his hometown of Vancouver, B.C.
Michael Bublé returns with another star-studded holiday Christmas special airing on Monday, December 10th from 10-11 pm ET on NBC. The multi-Grammy Award winning singer is joined by guest stars Rod Stewart, Blake Shelton, and fellow Canadian Carly Rae Jepsen, as well as Elmo, on songs including “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Let it Snow,” “All I want for Christmas is You” and “Winter Wonderland.” With a little magic, Michael performs a special duet with Bing Crosby of the classic “White Christmas.”
“I’m so excited to be back on NBC for another big Christmas Special which we got to tape in my hometown of Vancouver,” said Bublé. “We had great fun with our guests and I think the show really captures the joyous spirit of the holidays.”
Christmas has always been Michael Bublé’s favorite holiday and it’s been a long held dream of his to create the “ultimate” album that reflected the joy that the season brought to him and his family. But 2011 took the celebration to bigger heights than the multi Grammy winning Canadian superstar could have ever dreamt. His favorite classics, lovingly recorded, resulted in the multi-platinum “Michael Bublé Christmas,” the second biggest selling album of 2011 with sales that exceeded 6.5 million copies worldwide. The hearts of fans throughout the world embraced Michael Bublé’s “Christmas” and he reigned supreme at the top of the charts in the US, the UK, Australian, Canada and many other countries for weeks. “Christmas” was produced by David Foster, Bob Rock and Humberto Gatica.
Bublé recently appeared on NBC’s “The Voice” as a mentor on Blake Shelton’s team. He is also working in the recording studio with Bob Rock on a new studio album which is scheduled to be released in 2013.
Prior to last year’s release Bublé completed his sold out “Crazy Love” Tour which played in 80 North American cities and was seen by over a million people. His “Crazy Love” CD won two Grammy Awards for Best Traditional Pop Vocal album and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for his No. 1 Bublé penned single, “Haven’t Met You Yet.” Bublé is also the recipient of 10 Juno Awards including a Juno Album of the Year for his “It’s Time” CD. His record sales internationally have exceeded 35 million copies.

Carly Rae Jepsen – Multi-platinum Canadian singer/songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen has taken America by storm after bursting onto the scene in the US with her hit single “Call Me Maybe.” Unforgettably catchy, the hit song which she co-wrote, quickly rose to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart where it remained for nine consecutive weeks claiming the longest Hot 100 No. 1 run of 2012. Certified quintuple-platinum in Jepsen’s native Canada the track is also an international sensation, climbing to No. 1 on the iTunes Singles charts in over 37 countries. Jepsen has now joined forces with Owl City on their new single “Good Time” which has already reached the Top 5 on iTunes. Carly Rae Jepsen released her debut album “Kiss” on September 18th and hits the road this fall with Justin Bieber on the multi-platinum Pop/R&B sensation’s 2012 headlining tour of North America.
