Kimmy´s been the prisoner of a cult pastor for fifteen years and she is every bit as awkward as she could be when she gets to New York to try and make it.
Ellie Kemper playing the title role is incredibly good, funny, awkward and what´s more: credible as a cult survivor who´s been out of contact with the world for fifteen years.
And I don´t know if you were also missing Jane Krakowski since 30 Rock or not, but she´s back, and she´s very Jenna-like in this character too.
Titus is the automatic best friend, a character that you´ll need to give time, as the firste few episodes is still trying to find his footing on the story. Same as some supporting roles such as the legendary Carol Kane, playing Kimmy´s landlady Lillian.
And you see Tina Fey´s hand behind the show everywhere. This one is a show that I hope gets to stay for several seasons on Netflix. And I know this same week Twitter will be filled with tweets like: “I cannot wait for the next Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt season” and things like that.
I´m sure many people will love Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and they will binge watch the bejesus out of the show.
I know I have. Did you enjoy Netflix´s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt? Let me know in the comments section. And follow me on Twitter for more scoop.
