In this year, the nominees were: Dan DeLeeuw, Russell Earl, Bryan Grill and Dan Sudick for Capitan America: The Winter Soldier; Joe Letteri, Dan Lemmon, Daniel Barrett and Erik Winquist for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes; Stephanie Ceretti, Nicolas Aithaldi, Jonathan Fawkner and Paul Corbouold for Guardians of the Galaxy; Paul Franklin, Andrew Lockley, Ian Hunter and Scott Fisher for Interstellar; and Richard Stammers, Lou Pecora, Tim Crosbie and Cameron Waldbauer for X-Men: Days of Future Past.

For this award, the presenters were Chloe Moretz and Ansel Elgort.

And the Oscar goes to: Paul Franklin, Andrew Lockley, Ian Hunter and Scott Fisher for Interstellar
