person-of-interest-pilot-review-spoilers-quotesIt´s the fall season, and a lot of new series are on the way. We already reviewed premiere of 2 Broke Girls, and upcoming premiere of How to be a gentleman, and the premiere of Unforgettable and breakout premiere of New Girl. Up All Night, Free Agents and Whitney are other shows that already started.
Now it´s time for CBS´ new mistery show that pairs Michael Emerson again with JJ Abrams, and puts Jim Caviezel in that mix too. We are talking about Person of Interest pilot, review we are doing now.

First of all, this show brings another big star from movies to TV, secondly, it makes Michael Emerson and us viewers a weekly reunion much awaited, and lastly, it means the pen of JJ Abrams comes to us once again in a mistery show that looks great.

And wow! that first fight scene in the subway shows Jim Caviezel´s Reese being such a badass!

Michael Emerson as Finch is on pair to his character on Lost so far.

The on off voice is too close to Michael Westen explaining how to be spy on Burn Notice, but I´ll give the show carte blanche on that so far.

What is Person of Interest About? Plot Synopsis

PERSON OF INTEREST stars Jim Caviezel, Emmy Award winner Michael Emerson and Academy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson in a crime thriller about a presumed dead former-CIA agent, Reese, who teams up with a mysterious billionaire, Finch, to prevent violent crimes by using their own brand of vigilante justice. Reese’s special training in covert operations appeals to Finch, a software genius who invented a program that uses pattern recognition to identify people about to be involved in violent crimes. Using state-of-the-art surveillance technology, the two work outside of the law, using Reese’s adept skills and Finch’s unlimited wealth to unravel the mystery of the “person of interest” and stop the crime before it happens. Reese’s actions draw the attention of the NYPD, including homicide detective Carter, and Fusco, a cop whom Reese uses to his advantage. With infinite crimes to investigate, Reese and Finch find that the right person, with the right information, at the right time, can change everything.
