Ryan-Seacrest-American-IdolRyan Seacrest has just signed a $30 million deal to continue hosting American Idol. The presenter has been on the show since it first hit the screens ten years, and it was thought he would be parting ways.

However his contract has been extended by two years, which should bring the number of seasons he participates in up to a satisfactory figure for fans. Yes, if you only watch the show for Mr Seacrest, you won’t have to stop watching and find entertainment on www.poker.dk or check out X Factor or other plan B.
Speaking about the contract renewal in a statement, Ryan had this to say:

“For the last 11 seasons, I’ve had the privilege to be a part of one of television’s most iconic shows. It’s been a wild ride, and I’m excited for my journey with American Idol to continue.”

It is thought that Ryan will earn a whopping $15 million a year with the brand new contract, although this hasn’t been confirmed by anyone official as of yet.

Lots of fans were concerned Seacrest would leave the show, after former judge Simon Cowell was thought to be eager to snap him up as the new host of X Factor. Simon fired almost everyone on the panel and the host, Steve Jones, after the first season of X Factor didn’t perform as well as expected.

However, Ryan looks like he has no intention of leaving the show for the foreseeable future.

“The legions of fans, amazingly talented contestants, judges, and producers, along with the hard working Idol crew, impress me every time we go on air and make hosting the show a dream job.”

The show creator, Simon Fuller is equally as thrilled that Ryan is committed to the show: “He has been here from the very first day. I can’t imagine the show without him.”
