Halloween is coming soon, and sitcoms tend to prepare great Halloween episodes. We can remember great episodes from a lot of series: To name a few: The Simpsons Halloween episodes, Community, How I Met Your Mother and so on. It´s usually a great moment for comedy.
Now, NBC´s sitcoms are getting ready their Halloween special episodes for Up All Night, The New Normal, Parks and Recreation, Guys With Kids, Go On and The Office.
Go On Special Halloween Episode
“Go On” (Tuesday, October 30, 10:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m. ET/PT): “Videogame, Set, Match” — Ryan (Matthew Perry) is reluctant to take Owen (Tyler James Williams) under his wing while the group lets Yolanda (Suzy Nakamura) down and then tries to make it up to her by creating her dream “Alice in Wonderland” Halloween. NBA Miami Heat star Chris Bosh guest-stars.
The New Normal Special Halloween Episode
“The New Normal” (Tuesday, October 30, 10:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m. ET/PT): “Para-New Normal Activity” — Bryan (Andrew Rannells) gets into the Halloween spirit by decorating the house and making his annual trip to the pumpkin patch with his bestie (guest star Nicole Richie) to spot celebrities. Also, with the help of the “Sing” makeup artist (guest-star George Takei), Bryan dictates what everyone’s costumes will be.
Up All Night Special Halloween Episode
“Up All Night” (Thursday, October 25, 8:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m. ET/PT): “Ma’am’d” — After failing to get Chris’ (Will Arnett) attention, Reagan (Christina Applegate) worries that she is losing her romantic touch – and a visit to the dentist (guest star Tony Hale) gives her confidence a boost. Sean Hayes guest-stars as Walter, who gives the neighborhood a haunted house look.
Guys With Kids Special Halloween Episode
“Guys with Kids” (Wednesday, October 24, 8:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m. ET/PT): “Apartment Halloween” — When the president of their co-op board dies, domineering resident Lydia Allmendinger (guest star Marissa Jaret Winokur, “Hairspray”) takes her place, much to the guy’s chagrin. Using her new-found power, Lydia forbids Nick’s (Zach Cregger) annual Halloween hallway decorations, forcing Nick to take drastic measures.
Parks and Recreation Special Halloween Episode
“Parks and Recreation” (Thursday, October 25, 9:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m. ET/PT): “Halloween Surprises” — A new job offer for Ben (Adam Scott) causes Leslie (Amy Poehler) to contemplate their future; Ron (Nick Offerman) and Andy (Chris Pratt) take Diane’s (guest star Lucy Lawless) girls out trick-or-treating.

There are SO many good shows this year, and Grimm and Parks & Rec are at the top of my list. I also love New Girl, The Office, my all-time favorite, Community. There’s a ton of shows on FX I’m hooked on, too; Sunny, SOA, Brand X, Totally Biased; all on Thursday! My DVR is gonna be FULL! Luckily, through my job at DISH I picked up the Hopper, which will use this PrimeTime Anytime thing to allow me to record all the major-network shows using just one tuner, so I can still record all the other shows I watch on FX and Comedy Central too. ]
