We are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of the season.
And today is Happy Tuesday for Syfy hit show. And to fans of good TV, since Syfy renewed Haven today for a second season.
The renewal order for Haven season two consists on 13 episodes, and will air in 2011.
Eric Balfour and Emily Rose headline this show and they are both locked in for the second season of Haven, renewed by Syfy.
What is Haven about? Plot
A shrewd FBI agent with a lost past who arrives in the small town of Haven, Maine, to solve the murder of a local ex-con only to discover that the curious enclave is a longtime refuge for people with supernatural powers that holds a lot of secrets, including to her own past.
Haven is a supernatural drama television series loosely based on the Stephen King novel The Colorado Kid. The show, filmed in Canada, is an American/Canadian co-production. The one-hour drama premiered on July 9, 2010, on Syfy. The series will be the first property to be produced for Syfy Pay channels around the globe, excluding Canada and Scandinavia.

I am so excited that Haven has been renewed. It is fun, exciting, different and I so look forward every week to see the latest. The stories are intriguing and the actors/actresses superb. Great job SyFy, you have another winner!
I don’t know if Haven is renewed or canceled, but I really do enjoy the show and hope that it is renewed. Now days you get into a show and they have canceled it before you know it. They never seem to give the new shows a chance.

Haven is one of the worst shows I have seen in years. It makes no sense at all and the motivations of the people involved also make no sense.
Why would the FBI have assigned her to this town in the first place? There is no federal interest in the original case.
Why hasn’t anyone informed the state or federal government of the evidence of abnormal humans in the town?
Why haven’t all of the normal humans run screaming for their lives?
Seriously, they cancel Caprica and keep this piece of crap?

is haven really renewed for second season ?? cuz i love the show and i don’t want it to be cancelled !
I suffered through the first 10 episodes to FINALLY get some decent plot in the last couple of episodes. However the lead guy (the deputy…i forget his name) is terribly weak. I mean, I get all the allusions to Pinocchio but this guy is a stereo type of a “wooden” actor. He is stiff, unsympathetic and no match for his clever, sensitive and cute counterpart. I understand that this is written into the script, but really, I could care less what happens to Deputy Pinocchio.
The supporting cast is pretty good, but they killed off my favorit–the Sheriff. Too bad.
Not really much to look forward to here.
Glad to hear it has been renewed. Don’t need an entire cast of Maine accents, but one or two would make it more realistic. Of course using ”realistic“ and ”a Steven King story“ in the same sentence is, well, unrealistic.
I love “Deputy Pinocchio”, and even though they killed off one of my early favorites I can’t wait for the new season to begin. I just hope they complete the series’ plot if it does get cancelled. I’d hate to leave it hanging.

I don’t think Haven is a great show, it could have been done better…but the plot has me intrigued and I really want to know what is going to happen next and have the mystery of what’s going on resolved. I have liked the show enough that I am happy that there will be a second season. And I am sad that they killed off Eleanor Carr…although she only made brief appearances I think she was one of the best characters/actors on the show.

I live in Haven, and even though many of us wish the series did not disclose the weird dimensions of our community, the TV show has been good for business, especially internet sales of talismans and t-shirts. Glad it’s being renewed. (And, no, the sheriff here did not die and probably won’t stay dead in the TV show either.)

I was considering obtaining the book; “The Colorado Kid”, but I noted many bad reviews– so I will prefer to just watch an interesting mystery Sci-Fi program. Thank you!

My husband and I love the show, I am so glad to see it is coming back. It was something to look forward to on Friday, the night there is so little to see on TV. The actors do a fantastic job portraying their quirky characters.

I am so glad Haven is renewed for 2011. We love that show. We looked forward to watch it on Friday nights. We can’t wait for it to start again; and, all of my friends and relatives watch it to.
My family & I are very glad that the show is coming back on. We all love the show! Will it start back up over the summer?
As a big fan of the genre, the idea for this show really intrigued me and I wanted to see the show succeed from the start. unfortunately, I always find the writing to be very sloppy. People’s reactions to the crazy things that happen on the show are not credible in the least. As a result I can never just watch an episode and get fully immersed in it. Something in the back of head keeps saying: “Yeah, right!” It’s too bad, because the idea is great and I really want to like the show! As it is, the show has only been picked up for 13 episodes. I doubt Haven is going to be renewed for much longer without some major changes to the writing. The characters are just not believable.
I was so happy to hear that not only was the show going to produce a second season but that Jason Priestly has signed on as director and will act in a few episodes as well. The show gives even more support for the Canadian film production being shot in Nova Scotia. We proud “Blue Nosers” are happy to expose people around the globe to the beauty of our fair shores and this series helps us do just that. People should watch the show for what it is “fiction”. Don’t disect it, enjoy it. We’re plagued with too many true life horrors. Isn’t it nice to watch something so far fetched that you know it can never happen?
I am thrilled that Haven has been renewed for a 2nd season. I love love this show. The actors and actress is Fantastic. It gives me an escape from everyday stresses. I have been searching for this show on direct t.v for months and months with no results. Please please bring it back soon. Sincerely Jennifer

I love Haven. It is unique and every episode is interesting. I wait to watch it every Friday, and
usually record it so I can re-watch it later.
I’m really hoping it stays around and gets renewed and comes back for another season. So many
shows just disappear.
I’ve been watching TV since the 1950s and Haven is one of the best TV shows I’ve ever seen. I’m so glad it was renewed. The writing is very clever and many of the episodes echo themes from one of Stephen King’s favorite authors, H.P. Lovecraft. I’m sure it will increase in popularity if it gets more “press”, so more people know about it.
I have been watching this show since it started and I just “Love It”. With all the stupid reality shows on today this show is a breath of fresh air for a syfy horror fan like my self. So I would like to see this show keep coming back. With all the lack of creation it’s nice to see that there are writers out there with some imagination and vision left.
The show is great, been watching since it started. I am Stephen King fan. I have new friends because of this show. I started last night our own Haven Fans Page. We are only a few. On
tuesday we will be watching the Haven Christmas episode. Please do not cancel this show. You do have lots of people watching this show. Is excellent writting and excellent actors. That is the reason my friends keep watching. See you all on Tuesday night.
