Keep getting information to add to our lists of renewed shows on 2011 and all the cancelled shows on 2011, lists that are getting bigger and bigger every single day.
This time, Lifetime renews Dance Moms for second season, in a very expected turn of events, since the freshman docu-series had become a steady solid new show for the network.
The show averages 1,3 million viewers, but over the last four weeks it reached 1,6 million viewers in each installment, meaning an increase of nearly 70% since the premiere, and that shows a healthy and getting stronger show.
There is still a little time left for the show to keep improving, and I´m convinced it will end its first season run reaching 1,5 million viewers in average.
Second season renewal order for Dance Moms consists on 13 new episodes that will air in 2012.
The new show has sparked its own controversy as was expected being a show about kids and tiger moms, but it is very far away from the biggest controversial show of the kinds Toddlers & Tiaras.
