up-all-night-cancelled-renewed-nbcAlways, when fall season starts, our lists of renewed shows on 2011 and all the cancelled shows on 2011,get bigger.

This time Up All Night gets renewed for full season pickup and I have mixed feelings. Don´t get me wrong, I like to see this kind of shows getting the nod, and I´m optimistic about its future, but, having said that, whenever I get the cast of a show that includes Christina Applegate, Will Arnet and Maya Rudolph, I expect more. That´s it.

Up All Night gets renewed and that is probably a good thing, since it will give the show some time to evolve and settle in, and avoid playing all the tricks and gimmicks in the first couple of episodes. (When you need to go to full early 90´s flashback in episode two, I think things are not exactly where you want them to be).

Maya Rudolph´s character will either become the craziest crazy, or tone it down a lot, instead of being this up and down rollercoster of a character, Will Arnet I hope is going to make me revisit my theory that he´s the greatest complimentary piece to a cast instead of a leading man, and Christina Applegate will make me invest in her character instead of making me remember fondly of Samantha Who.

What do you think? Are you happy NBC renewed Up All Night? Will you watch Up All Night on NBC? Let me know in the comments section.
