We move on to TVLand, a network that is following the steps of USA Network in terms of efficience. 100% renewed shows, although USA has over ten originals so far, and TVLand is on its third.
TV Land renews Happily Divorced for a second season, and this should surprise no one. Especially considering that the network is well invested in Fran Drescher, and of course, that the show is delivering the numbers.
“Happily Divorced” is averaging over 2.2 million total viewers, a 1.0 among A25-54 and a 1.3 among W25-54 season-to-date, posting triple digit gains over the network’s primetime average so that is self explanatory when asking why TVLand renewed Happily Divorced for season two.
Happily Divorced renewal order consists of 12 episodes set to air in 2012. And TVLand continues its streak: Hot in Cleveland´s renewal, Retired at 35´s renewal, now Happily Divorced´s renewal. Next winter the pressure´s on for The Exes to deliver too.
