Update: Unforgettable gets renewed by CBS who rescues it for a new season.
More information to fill the lists for cancelled shows of 2012 and renewed shows of 2012. And this one is something I thought I would not be writing about a while ago. I really thought it had a fair share of hopes to come back. CBS cancels Unforgettable, but the Poppy Montgomery led show looked promising enough. With a solid cast, good enough ratings, and a nomination for People´s Choice Awards as Favourite new TV Drama, it looked as if the show was sprinting towards getting renewed. But the Eye had it sight elsewhere, apparently, and indeed CBS cancelled Unforgettable and season finale turned out to be series finale too. That´s a shame, but I´m sure we´ll see Poppy soon elsewhere bringing her lovely self to our screens.
What was Unforgettable about? Plot Synopsis
Former Syracuse, New York police detective Carrie Wells has hyperthymesia, a rare medical condition that gives her the ability to visually remember everything. She reluctantly joins the New York City Police Department’s Queens homicide unit after her former boyfriend and partner asks for help with solving a case. The move allows her to try to find out the one thing she has been unable to remember, which is what happened the day her sister was murdered.
