csi-cancelled-renewed-season-14-cbsSometimes shows fade over time, but there are others that just seem never ending love stories with audiences, that is clearly the case for CSI, getting renewed for season fourteen by CBS, and having survived cast member changes, and even lead actors changes it has proved to be quite a survivor.

This year, CSI has also won its time period week in and week out averaging 11.8 million viewers, and also winning key demos as adults 18-49 with 2.9/8 and adults 25-54 with 3.8/9. Not bad for an oldie, huh?

This time, as CBS renews CSI for season fourteen, it has also signed a new deal to bring back Ted Danson as the lead, while also bringing back Elisabeth Shue, George Eads, Jorja Fox, Eric Szmanda, Paul Guilfoyle, Robert David Hall, Wallace Langham, Elisabeth Harnois, David Berman and John Wellner; the full ensemble.

Nina Tassler, president of entertainment at CBS, while announcing the renewal of CSI said “CSI is synonymous with CBS, and we are so proud of the series”. Undoubtedly, they should be.
