Whitney-cancelled-renewed-nbcFor most TV journalists it survived one season too long, for some others, a season and a half, but I watched it and laughed to it, and even though it was by no means a must watch, it gained its space on my DVR to watch when there was nothing else on. Probably that was the show´s problem, the ones who watched it, did not watch live, and the rest were loathing it, thus NBC Cancelled Whitney after two seasons of air

Last season, Whitney Cumming had three shows on air, but this year, CBS´ 2 Broke Girls is last one standing as Love You Mean It with Whitney Cummings has been cancelled earlier and now NBC cancels Whitney.

NBC’s multi-camera comedy “Whitney” is a look at modern day love, which centers around Whitney (Whitney Cummings, “Chelsea Lately”) and Alex (Chris D’Elia, “Glory Daze”), a happily unmarried couple. Together for three years, the duo is in no rush to get hitched.
The couple is surrounded by their quirky group of friends, Zoe Lister-Jones (“The Other Guys”), Rhea Seehorn (“The Starter Wife”), Dan O’Brien (“How I Met Your Mother”), and Tone Bell (new to the second season of the show).
At the end of the day, Whitney and Alex realize that while their relationship might not be perfect on paper, they really do love each other — and that works for them.
