Dexter finds himself teamed up with a fellow Dark Passenger when he takes a road trip to Nebraska to tie up some loose ends from the past. As Debra continues to lead the investigation into the Doomsday killings, she deals with the complications of being a lieutenant.
In the previously on Dexter we see Dexter killing Nick, we see the Trinity Killer, and Dexter killing his brother Brian, and then seeing him again… and that kickstarts the episode.

One thing that´s happening with Dexter – my favorite Drama nowadays (as it happens to me with my favorite dramedy Psych), it´s that season six is rocking beyond what I could expect. One would think after all these years we´ve seen everything and yet folks at Showtime continue to wow us with the new episodes of Dexter. Hats off to the writers, creators, cast and crew.
But, without further ado, let´s jump into the first fifteen minutes of Dexter S06E05 The Angel of Death, after the episode airs, I´ll update the article with the rest of the episode.

With the help of his newfound friend, Brother Sam, Dexter wonders if there is light within him to counter the darkness. The search for the Doomsday Killers takes Dexter in a new direction, while Batista and Quinn pay a visit to the university where Professor Gellar taught. Due to departmental regulation following the shooting, Debra is forced to begin therapy.
Dexter: During the middle ages it was believed that the outcome of nearly all earthly events was decided by angels. Either light or dark. I´m pretty sure that the one I saw in the crowd was of the dark variety.
We get to see Debra Morgan theorizing about why was the police entrance that triggered the killing.
Everybody thinks there´s a doomsday killer, and Dexter thinks he has an accomplice. But is he telling about the second doomsday killer? Or is he keeping it a secret?
Can the new intern solve Masuka´s problem with the Ice Truck Killer missing evidence? Is Brea Grant leaving Dexter for good?

I had the chance to watch the season premiere of Dexter called Those Kinds of Things upfront, and the move to having a new babysitter, and new villains, but also having Dexter Morgan getting used to some new life, after Rita was killed, and Lumen left.
Now, a new season of Dexter arrived, and it´s all we´ve been waiting for. I waited a whole week until I posted this because it is so good I wanted to give everybody enough time not to be spoiled. Now I guess it´s fair game.
Dexter shows up at his 20th high-school reunion with the intention of confronting the former prom king. Elsewhere, an investigation into a heinous murder with religious overtones leads Dexter to ponder spiritual matters and wonder about his son’s legacy. And an unexpected situation results in Debra becoming a hero.

Wow, just wow. Watching Dexter and saying otherwise would be plain wrong. The show is on a creative high. Many were wondering how could they bounce back after killing Rita on Dexter, but the writers surely knew what they were doing.
In the episode S05E11 As Dexter and Lumen methodically exact their revenge on Jordan Chase’s maniacal band of brothers, their secret alliance is uncovered by Liddy. Looking to get back into the good graces of Miami Metro, Liddy’s part-time surveillance job could potentially bring down Miami’s most prolific serial killer and make him a local hero. With all eyes on Dexter, how will he be able to fend off Liddy and Quinn, while moving in on Jordan for one of his most complicated and meaningful kills?

Open with Debra and Quinn going to see Chase. With Tilden having gone missing, they are now certain he has some connection to all the missing men. Chase gets a little testy and says he thinks Debra must be obsessed with him.
Dexter and Lumen talk about how impossible it seems to get close to Chase. Lumen suggests being the bait but Dexter hates the idea. Dexter tells her Debra has never suspected his part-time “activities” and thinks she must have a blind-spot for him. At this point Harrison’s baby monitor picks up the signal of Liddy’s camera and Dexter realizes they are being monitored. He tells Lumen without doing anything obvious. They think it must be Chase.
Realizing the signal must be nearby, Dexter looks around outside for likely monitoring spots. He sees a number of vans that fit the description.
Liddy waits for Quinn at the station to tell him he’s officially been terminated. His plan to get his job back is to make the huge Dexter bust and he has to have from help from a current cop. Quinn doesn’t want any part of it but Liddy assures him he’ll get a call and “you better come running.”
Dexter is able to get a look at the camera without tipping off the viewer. He sees that it is property of Miami Metro.
Out on the balcony Dexter tells Lumen the police are monitoring them. Since they haven’t been arrested the video may not have been seen yet. He’s not sure what’s happening but he plans to check the serial number at the station. Sonya calls Dexter to remind him Harrison’s birthday party is that Sunday. Woried about safety, Dexter suggests they do it down in Orlando.
Dexter goes to the station, aware that he’s not getting any strange looks. Matsuka tells the group they found the female book print from Tilden’s house next the vacant place next door. He checked it out, found a room had been bleached and suspects Tilden was killed there. Debra ends up revealing her vigilante theory to the entire department, including the idea a man must be helping the woman.
Dexter gets into the department’s computer system and finds out Quinn checked out the cameras and microphones three days earlier. The case used was 30 years old so Quinn must be doing this off-the-books.
Dexter and Lumen break into Quinn’s place looking for video files. They find the pictures Liddy gave him of them dumping Cole’s body in the ocean, which tells them they’ve been watched for weeks. They need to find the digital originals.
Debra and Quinn go to see Dan the dentist’s wife. She thinks he was a closeted homosexual, but is even more upset to learn about his real activities. She tells them about Chase and his original name, Eugene Greer.
Angel tells Debra and Quinn they’ve learned Tilden had a lengthy business relationship with Chase that he lied about. Along with the childhood relationship with Dan, they have enough to connect Chase with each of the rapists and want to bring him in for more questioning.
Debra reveals to Dexter the reason she’s been having trouble with Quinn was that he lied to her about investigating Dexter’s possible role in Rita’s death. She admits to still having feelings for Quinn and says she wishes she could find somebody like the person helping the vigilante. She thinks that is what real love is.
Dexter buys a switchblade for Lumen while they’re out at a market. Dexter wants her to leave town temporarily, but she won’t. He tells her about Debra’s theory on their relationship. The relationship seems to be getting serious.
Debra, Quinn and Angel breakdown the case, discussing Chase’s transformation from fat teenager. Quinn tells Debra he still loves her and tells her she’s unlike any other woman he’s been with. Angel returns with news that Chase has booked an overseas speaking tour. If they can’t get a court order to prevent him from leaving the country he might be gone forever. They discuss brining the situation to Maria but Debra says no, thinking she’d never help her.
Just one van remains by Dexer’s apartment after several days. He approaches it with a hypodermic, but Liddy pops out from behind a tree and knocks him out with stun gun. He tosses Dexter in the back and takes off.
Lumen gets a call from a panicked Emily. She says someone Chase found out she spoke with her and she terrifield. She wants to go to the police, but Lumen assures her she and Dexter will protect her. Once Emily hangs up we see Chase is at her house and the phone call was part of a trick to lure Dexter and Lumen to him. Lumen calls Dexter and leaves a voicemail that they must go see Emily.
Dexte wakes up in the back of Liddy’s van. Liddy explains about investigation on Quinn’s behalf and then gives Quinn a call. Liddy calls Quinn, who says he’s busy. Liddy says if Quinn doesn’t come meet him he’ll call another cop. Liddy tells Dexter that since he didn’t have a warrant for the video observation, he’ll need a confession.
Lumen shows up at Emily’s place. Chase pops out from the next room.
Liddy tells Dexter if he confesses he’ll keep Lumen out of it. All he wants is his job back and he deosn’t care about any of them. Liddy pulls out a video camera and Dexter gets the jump on him, eventually plunging a huge knife into his chest and killing him. This happens just as Quinn pulls up next to the van. Quinn finds the doors locked and Liddy is now not answering his phone. Just as a single drop of Liddy’s blood leaks out of the van and onto Quinn’s boot he head to his car and leaves. Dexter checks his voicemail and learns Lumen heard from Emily. He tosses the laptop in the ocean and leaves.
Maria brings Debra into her office and confronts her about not going through to her to get the court order for Chase. The judge denied the request. The two discuss their recent disagreements. Maria reveals that she went to a different judge and got the court order Debra wanted.
Dexter goes to his house and finds Lumen not there
Chase doesn’t seem to believe Lumen doesn’t know where Dexter is or why he isn’t there. This leads to an argument between Chase and Emily. When it looks like Chase is about to kill Lumen with a fireplace poker, Emily protests and gets hit several times herself. Lumen crawls to a chair and goes for her purse.
Later on Dexter arrives at Emily’s place. He finds a massive blood trail and follows it to Emily’s body in a back room. Lumen and Chase are gone.
Debra goes to the private air field and is told by Chase’s pilot that Chase never showed up for a flight scheduled to leave an hour earlier.
Dexter finds evidence of more blood, some of it not Emily’s, leading outside the house. He finds the knife he bought Lumen and realizes she’s been putting up a fight.

Wow, just wow. Watching Dexter and saying otherwise would be plain wrong. The show is on a creative high. Many were wondering how could they bounce back after killing Rita on Dexter, but the writers surely knew what they were doing.
In the episode S05E10 Miami Metro uncovers more evidence in their ongoing investigations, and Debra names two suspects. Dexter, meanwhile, comes across a possible ally.
Dexter: They say history repeats itself. But I´m never putting my family in danger again
Dexter: I need to plan for the worst
Liddy: What the fuck are you up to now?
Dexter: Stay inside, and don´t open the door… to anyone
Debra: I´m just happy to be back. It beats the fucking files.
Dexter: A target you´ll never see. He´s already buried at see.
Debra: Save your bullshit for your seminars, and answer my fucking question
Dexter: You don´t miss a thing (Unfortunately)
Masuka: Notice anything about them?
Dexter: (They all look like Lumen) No. Not really.
Dexter: The men who hurt you. They made DVD´s of everything they did
Lumen: Thirteen. Is that me?
Lumen: I know that you risk your life every day that you are with me. You´ve been my only way through this
Dexter: Well, I guess we both met in the right time
Dexter: Do you think there´s a vigilante out there?
Liddy: Here you are, in Geek Squad
Liddy: You like blood, huh
Dexter: I like catching bad guys
Liddy: That´s cute
Lumen: That moment turned Jordan into a monster
Dexter: My guess, he was already a monster
Dexter: There´s a way to do this. A way that protects you. That protects both of us
Dexter: Thirteen pieces of jewelsry, thirteen trophys
Jordan: Emily. No one can ever take your place. We have a bond, that no one can ever break. You made me what I am
now.
Dexter: I´m glad you never touched them.
Jordan: Yeah, why?
Dexter: Because this DNA test will let you free for me… and her… Your time is up
Dexter: You look perfect
Lumen: You recognize me, don´t you? I look different without my hands tied behind my back
Dexter: There´s a first time for everything. A first step, a first word, a first kiss, a first kill

Dexter: In her eyes, I´m not a monster at all

Open with Dexter making arrangements for Harrison to be sent to a safe place. He also moves Lumen to an apartment Chase doesn’t know about. We see that Liddy is watching them from an adjacent window. Dexter tells Lumen he wants to go through Emily Birch (the Chase blood necklace girl) to find the rest of the men involved in the attacks.
Maria and Masuka brief the department about the new evidence pointing to Cole. Debra is back from the filing department.
Angel gives Maria the cold shoulder. Clearly he’s still not happy with her recent actions.
Debra and Quinn visit Chase’s office and are stunned to learn Cole has disappeared. Debra angrily questions Chase about not providing them more information. The result is Chase saying the police will now have to deal solely with his attorney.
Dexter and Lumen go to Birch’s place. They show her the picture of Cole and his buddies and she immediately clams up and slams the door on them. Dexter tells Lumen she must know something.
The police search Cole’s place. Cole’s blood is found, left over from the struggle with Dexter and Lumen. They find 13 numbered DVDs, each with video of one of the tortured girls.
At the office Dexter realizes that once Debra’s looks at Lumen’s DVD everything will unravel. Masuka is getting close to figuring out there is a living victim. Dexter is able to plant a blank DVD and snag Lumen’s from Masuka’s desk.
Back at the apartment Dexter tells Lumen about Cole’s DVDs and gives her the one she is in. The idea of being a number makes Lumen emotional, but she is thankful for his sacrifice. It seems like they’re connecting. That night Lumen watches her DVD.
Debra tells Dexter she has a theory. She has connected Dan the Dentist with Cole and the tortures. Toss in Boyd’s disappearance and the blood at Cole’s place and she now believes there is a vigilante taking out the men responsible.
Lumen’s returns to Birch’s place and shows her a phone video of her attack. Birch lets her in. Birch tells Lumen that she was attacked 20 years ago at a summer camp. Chase and his buddies attacked her. Back then Chase was a fat kid named Eugene Grier. She was drugged and woke up in a cabin. She said she was never touched by Chase, but he was able to talk the other guys into doing stuff to her. The look she saw in Chase’s face during the attack is what he has all the time now. She was the one who took the picture, and she identifies the fifth and final member of the group as Alex Tilden.
Liddy makes sure to run into Dexter in the office. He asks Dexter about his interest in blood. We see Liddy forging Quinn’s names on some documents and picking up a bunch of surveillance supplies.
Lumen tells Dexter about the meeting with Birch and Tilden. She says she wants to be the one to kill Tilden.
We see Quinn and Debra meeting with Tilden, who is a banker. Tilden’s name showed up in Cole’s computer, which Tilden explains as being due to a fantasy football connection. Alex claims not to know Chase or Boyd.
Dexter gives Lumen a pair of gloves like his. He tells her evidence will now be especially important. Liddy is watching them with full audio and video capabilities.
Dexter and Lumen break into Tilden’s place. They find a box with trinkets from each of the victims. She takes back her necklace. They pick out a kill room.
We see Chase sitting with Birch. Apparently he instructed her to tell Lumen about the camp, which it sounds like was the truth. Chase seems to have some strange power over Birch.
Chase and his entourage come to Miami Metro after a request is made for his DNA. Even though his attorney advices against it, Chase agrees to gives his saliva. Chase and Dexter are alone during the sample collection and the two makes threats to each other.
Lumen is now dressed all in black. Dexter seems visibly moved by her wearing the clothes of the killin’ trade. He hands her a knife and has her practice a death blow. Liddy watches all of this is stunned amazement.
A terrified Tilden calls Chase and says he wants to leave town. Chase promises he’s “on top of it” and tells him to maintain his routine.
We see that Chase is outside Tilden’s place and he watched Dexter and Lumen break into the house. Chase then places a call to Debra, telling her Tilden placed a strange, panicked call to his office looking for Cole and asking about flights. Chase leaves the scene and we see Debra and Quinn head for Tilden’s place.
Tilden arrives home to find Lumen standing in front of a video of her attack. He runs away, directly into Dexter and his hypodermic. Tilden wakes up in the kill room. Dexter says a few choice words and collects his blood sample, just as Debra and Quinn pull into the driveway. They find the door unlocked and search the house. We see that Tilden’s kill room is in the vacant house next door. Lumen ends up stabbing Tilden in the heart for her first official kill.
Debra and Quinn find Lumen’s fresh footprints in Tilden’s backyard. Debra suggests that maybe the vigilante is one of the victims.
Lumen and Dexter return to the apartment and unpack their stuff. Lumen follows Dexter into a back bedroom and they start to fool around. This leads to a sex scene and Dexter’s inner monologue tells us that when he’s with Lumen “I’m someone different. In her eyes I’m not a monster at all.”
