baggage-battles-cancelled-renewed-travel-channelThe same day as Travel Channel renewed Hotel Impossible, there´s more information to fill the lists for cancelled shows of 2012 and renewed shows of 2012. This time, Travel Channel renews Baggage Battles for a sophomore season too. “Baggage Battles” will begin filming 14 half-hour episodes in July, for a late 2012 premiere.

Season two of “Baggage Battles” brings back the savvy “auction experts” viewers met in the first season: Laurence and Sally Martin, a married couple who co-own Studio Antiques in El Segundo, California; Mark Meyer, a young entrepreneur from Long Island, New York who owns The Nifty Thrifty store; and New York City’s Billy Leroy, owner of the iconic Billy’s Antiques and Props, one of the last eclectic props and antique stores. The new season will continue to follow these shrewd experts as they trust their keen eye for detail to find forgotten treasures and hidden finds at the top auctions around the world. New episodes from season one are currently premiering Wednesdays at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT through the end of July.
“Baggage Battles” is produced by MY Tupelo Entertainment for Travel Channel. For MY Tupelo, the executive producers are Michael Yudin and Joe Townley. For Travel Channel, the executive producer is Daniel A. Schwartz.
