After all the feuding, the drama and the speculation, now it´s a done deal, and soon NBC will announce it as such: Jimmy Fallon will take over The Tonight Show for 2014, taking the place of soon to be departed Jay Leno. From next year on, The Tonight Show will move its operations from Los Angeles to New York to the 30 Rock building from where Jimmy Fallon´s Late Night airs.
The show will of course change its name to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and it´s still not quite sure what will happen with Late Night, but word around is that Seth Meyers could be the replacement and is already in early discussions to fill in the position soon to be left open by Fallon.
