Fridays seem to be business TV shows, as ABC has Shark Tank and CBS Undercover Boss, and they are both good shows, solid in the ratings, and getting callback after callback. Now it´s CBS who renewed Undercover Boss for season six that is set to start a new run around September 2014, for the show created by Stephen Lambert.
UNDERCOVER BOSS is an Emmy Award-winning reality series that follows high-level corporate executives as they slip anonymously into the rank-and-file of their own companies. Each week, a different executive will leave the comfort of their corner office for an undercover mission to examine the inner workings of their corporation.
The show has several international versions, namely in Australia, Canada, United Kingdom among them, and a feel good premise that manages to get us satisfied each and every episode.
I still have a hard time believing that an employee wouldn´t recognize the boss with a teeny tiny makeover, but I guess that the companies are big enough as to never have met before. Probably the premise couldn´t work on a small business.
