Watch Spoiler Video Trailer of Amazing Wedding Cakes

On the Sunday, May 1st edition (airing at 10pm ET/PT), Amazing Wedding Cakes focuses on Caroline and David who just got engaged and love to cook together.  Christopher Garren Cakes creates a superb engagement cake design that incorporates many of the couple’s favorite culinary items. The whimsical confection includes a crate of fresh vegetables, recipe cards, a wok, plates, a Dutch oven, all stacked up high.  Then there’s a breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast & a coffee mug. Next up, there’s Peking duck, a chopping board and a knife. And to top it all off, the bakery creates chocolate figurines of David and Caroline.  It’s a big cake with a lot of pieces to attach, so Chris and Kristen will have to assemble it on site at the party.  Broken plates, knives and pots may be common in a chef’s kitchen, but not on a cake!  Can Garren’s team avoid a cake-tastrophy? Also in this episode, The White Flower Cake Shoppe in Ohio struggles to deliver their first moving parts groom’s cake; and a stunning cake at Gateaux in Minnesota is inspired by champagne and shimmer.

Then, on Sunday, May 8 at 10pm ET/PT, viewers meet Lindsey,a pilot, who is engaged to Sean, who is also a pilot.  Since she’s never in town long enough to plan for her big day, this busy bride is becoming a bit of a bridezilla.  Her maid of honor wants to nip this behavior in the bud by hosting a pampering bridal shower, so she turns to Robin at Gateaux to create an amazing cake that’s all about the bride. Robin conceives a cake that celebrates Lindsey’s travel adventures, but making a round cake in the shape of a globe proves to be challenging.  Robin worries that her team won’t pull it off but they do – complete with all five continents, and flags that mark all the important destinations in Lindsey and Sean’s relationship–like Rome, where he proposed, and Bora Bora, where bride and groom plan to go to for their honeymoon.
