Still catching up on all the renewals and cancellations, and I still have a long way to go… well, this one is about ABC renewing Secret Millionaire for a second season on the network, and a third season overall. Let´s remember the show started on Fox and then moved to ABC where it thrived in Sundays.
The Secret Millionaire is a reality television show which originated in the UK, in which millionaires go incognito into impoverished communities and agree to give away tens of thousands of pounds (or tens of thousands of dollars in the U.S. version). Members of the community are told the cameras are present to film a documentary; so in a way it´s an uplifting show with a good message. I am just not a fan of giving and telling everybody about it; I´d rather these people were giving away with no cameras at all, but perhaps that´s just me.
Every season so far of the show has six episodes, and probably third season will have as many.
On Millionaires shows, this one ranks behind Shark Tank in my book by far. Don´t know about yours.
