We are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of 2011.
And today some shows got good news: Logo renewed RuPaul´s Drag Race and Untucked Rupaul´s Drag Race, while also renewed A-List New York;and BET renewed The Game, a show who went through cancellation once already.
Well, this time, news ain´t good: CBS cancels Chaos after only three episodes. That was something I did not see coming. Of course, the numbers of the freshman series were low, and it was in risk, but they did not give it any room to grow. The show gained ten percent between episode two and three, and maybe could get some momentum going.
Well, that won´t be the case. There´s no more chance. Chaos got cancelled. CSI: NY repeats will air in place of the spy dramedy that brought Six Feet Under alum Freddy Rodriguez back to TV, in this case fronting a show that looked good. After CSI NY two weeks slot coverage, Flashpoint will have the timeslot with new originals to air Fridays.

[…] while yesterday we had the sad news to see Freddy Rodriguez´s new show Chaos get cancelled by CBS, the Ying to this Yang came from the hands of HBO. HBO renewed Game of Thrones for a second season […]
That show was so awesome! It was really exciting! I loved it! Hello! James Murray was really hot and Freddy Rodriquez is sexy and a great actor. They are all really talented actors. That is so unfair! that was my NEW FAVORITE SHOW!
[…] CBS cancels Chaos […]
Again a New show with People we really like (Eric Close), and has great potential slashed by a Network! It’s getting hard to even watch any new shows, because as soon as we are invested, they KILL it! We’ve started buying the DVD’s getting ready for your next Hollywood strike. If the Viewers decided to NOT watch any of the “NEW” shows (you think will be better), maybe we could save some of our favorites. The Grass is NOT always Greener. We love well written comedies like Chaos and The Good Guys on FOX. (also cancelled).
Mike and Mollie is one our NEW Favorites.CSI New York, NCIS (both) are fabulous. Please keep them all.
CBS, what are you thinkin?, In this environment in our country, FUN shows are what we want. We have watched every episode of Flashpoint and hope it will continue. You also were slow to RENEW Blue Bloods, which is AWESOME. Comedies all about SEX are old hat. Find something better, like Chaos!
Well they cancelled my favorite show. Chaos. Don’t look like I will be watching anything on CBS this fall. Cable hear I come.
This is a great show with tight editing and writing. The actors blend well together in a (mish)Mash kind of way and I looked forward to every show. The balance of humor and action was perfect and the “oh they’re gonna …” never worked for me due to the surprise twists. Maybe if somebody gave the show a chance it would make it. I remember when the newer Dick van Dyke show (not the original as Rob Petrie) was cancelled before he received his Emmy for the new show. I wonder what kind of crap will replace CHAOS.
Chaos was a keeper. CBS: How did you get this one wrong?
Why is it the ‘intelligent’ written shows always get cancelled…
like Chaos. We like ‘real’ gritty detective series, like CSI
and Mystery by the britts, but we also appreciated the lightheartedness of Castle and Chaos where the nerds get a chance
to solve and case or bring down the brutish evil-doers.
Dexter’s OK, but not at dinnertime or bedtime!!!
probably the intelligent series draw less viewers, because maybe people want to relax instead of thinking. I don´t know. I liked Chaos a lot.
