We are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of 2011.
And the year came out in its first week already giving way to a couple renewals.
CBS renews The Talk for a second season, and it should not surprise anybody because the show, since its premiere in October when it replaced As the World Turns, The Talk has averaged 2.21 million viewers, a 1.1 rating/6 share in women 25-54 and a 0.8/5 in women 18-49. It delivered season-high weekly audiences during the week of Jan. 7 (2.34 million) and Jan. 14 (2.40 million), while also matching season-highs in key women demographics.
Nina Tassler, President of CBS Entertainment told reporters The co-hosts have clicked together, the topics have connected with the audience and the show has added a new dimension to our top-rated daytime line-up. We’re excited about its current success and the potential to grow and evolve The Talk even further.
Hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete the show is growing each week.

Love the show, enjoy all the hosts, heard a rumor that Leah Remini may not be back, that would be a very stupid move on CBS’s part, she is one of the reasons to watch

There was such a great sense of harmony and a feeling of ease….Yep you sure got rid of the wrong ones…..they made the show!!!!!! These new two are always watching their backs and I find them to be more annoying and so far from being real, afraid you can’t make REAL!! YOU DID HAVE A GREAT SHOW, AND I ENJOYED IT EVEN OVER THE VIEW!! ”’ALL GONE”””!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHERE IS LEAH AND HOLLY???? I love the show but I watched it daily to see Leah and Sharon! WTH!!! I do not enjoy the others setting in…Shannon!!Really…she is not enjoyable! I hope Leah and first team come back!!! Otherwise….bye bye!
The Talk is horrible now, agree with the lady’s comments above–got rid of the most real and entertaining two . In addition , the new folks comments seem forced, monitored or explained away or made acceptable by JC….what a bore! Ive moved on to surfing for something more entertaining.
I will no longer be watching the show without Leah Remini. She was constantly treated like crap on the show every time she tried to speak she would be cut off or Julie would make some smart a$$ comment about what she had said she was always putting her down like she was better. I think Sharon should just leave because she is the only one left with any class & she can do much better that this show. I always loved Sara Gilbert but unlike Leah she lets Julie cut her off & tell her what to do, I always though she was much tougher that this. So I will no longer be watching The Talk.
The talk was a must for me with Leah and Holly, Please cancel. How stupid is CBS, to fix something that isn’t broke?
