New info to update lists for renewed shows on 2011 and all the cancelled shows on 2011, and this one makes me sad… TNT is canceling Memphis Beat after two seasons. And while this was not My Name is Earl, any Jason Lee fronted show deserves better luck.
“The network thanks everyone involved in the production of Memphis Beat for their work on the series, including the great cast and crew. TNT wishes everyone the best.” was the official statement from TNT about cancelling Memphis Beat.
This gives the network a medium ratio, after seeing Hawthorne and Men of a Certain Age also cancelled, but Franklin & Bash, Rizzoli & Isles, Leverage and Falling Skies renewed.
If this has anything to do or not with the new project that NBC bought from Memohis Beat creators Liz Garcia and Joshua Harto called The Meadows I don´t know.
There´s a lot on the plate for Jason Lee after portraying Dwight Hendricks, since he is guest starring on Up All Night as Kevin, he is doing some voice overs, and he is on pre production for M and Happy Holidays, Katherine Sloane.
What do you think? Are you sad TNT cancelled Memphis Beat after second season? Let me know in the comments section.

He looks okay but he is not do-able or sweet pretty boy but he gets the job done but there are people that are good but this guy is okay but viewers out there are keeping the show alive and like something about this guy but sooner or later attention is lost and viewers go down to some degree but better late then never and better to have a show on then never have one on at all?
Some shows make it and some don’t but it is better to try then never try at all and it is better to throw the dice and hope you don’t come up snake eyes but only time will tell and you never know if the rating are going to all of a sudden jump up and really rock the rating out to some degree but over all it is best to gamble then never gamble at all.
