More information to fill the lists for cancelled shows of 2012 and renewed shows of 2012. And this one feels exactly as the official announcement said it. There´s a legacy from the show, and it will be remembered fondly (and hey, it will also be on tons of reruns and syndication deals in the US and internationally). But it was time to let it go. CBS cancels CSI: Miami after ten seasons of air, and the priciest version of the franchise was the casualty, while the other two will go on.
David Caruso´s character will be remembered and missed, but it´s a good move to leave while still winning. CBS cancels CSI: Miami, and even though it´s a tough call, it sure seems like the right one.
What is CSI: Miami about? Plot Synopsis
Inspired by the top-rated series, “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” CSI: MIAMI is a drama that follows a South Florida team of forensic investigators who use both cutting-edge scientific methods and old-fashioned police work to solve crimes. Horatio Caine, a former homicide detective, heads a group of investigators who work crimes amid the steamy tropical surroundings and cultural crossroads of Miami. His team includes Calleigh Duquesne, a bilingual Southern beauty with a specialty in ballistics; Eric Delko, an underwater recovery expert who knows all the twists and turns of the Florida waterways; and Ryan Wolfe, a former patrol officer who specializes in blood and trace evidence. Rounding out the team is Natalia Boa Vista, the enigmatic DNA specialist and Walter Simmons, who has transferred over from the night shift. Helping Horatio with cases is Det. Frank Tripp, a tough yet thorough police officer. Together, these investigators collect and analyze the evidence to solve the crimes and to avenge those who cannot speak for themselves – the victims.

CSI Miami is the very best of the CSI programs. When you tried to get rid of Adam Rodriguez the out cry from his fans was so great you brought him back. That should have told you something about the program. And had you not “killed off” Speedle we would have demanded Rory Cochrane back. Leave the program on and leave the characters alone. We love the show, we love the actors.
