tbs-cancelled-renewed-sullivan-sonI´m going to change a bit the Cancelled and Renewed Shows 2012 part of the title for now on. You already know I´m doing the lists for cancelled shows of 2012 and renewed shows of 2012.

This time, a no brainer from TBS: to renew Sullivan & Son. In the official network announcement regarding this pick up, Michael Wright, president, head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies (TCM) said “Sullivan & Son has gotten off to a strong start, quickly building its own fan base… We’ve had a great time working with Steve Byrne, Vince Vaughn, Peter Billingsley, Rob Long and the wonderful cast and crew of Sullivan & Son, and we look forward to seeing the show continue to grow in 2013.”

After all, it´s an easy decision for TBS to renew Sullivan & Son, since the comedy is averaging more than 2.5 million viewers in its first season and ranks as one of the Top 25 new summer series on television.

Sullivan & Son second season renewal order consists of 10 episodes slated to air in 2013. TBS is strongly moving into the original spectrum, after renewing Men at Work, renewing Sullivan & Son, picking up Cougar Town from cancellation, while also having Tyler Perry´s For Better or Worse, Wedding Band, King of the Nerds and a couple more shows still with working titles.
