How many lives does an almost cancelled show gets?
Well… TNT picked up cancelled by NBC Southland, to give it another shot in its screen. TNT ordered a second season of Southland, and after some alright rating numbers, the show gets a full ten episode third season order. Hence, Southland gets renewed by TNT for a third season. What do you think?

and shows my LA for real.
I think this is a great show that depicts the little known lives of los Angeles cops.
I love this show, and will take 10 episodes of season 3 though would have loved to have more episodes than 10 🙂

It’s great that southland is coming!! Everyone I know wants that show back in the air!! Best cop show if seem!! In my opinion better than csi, criminal mind, and all those other dumb shows!! The cast is good and easy to relay to!! I would watch 30 seasons of southland if possible!!!
kind of was mind boggled when it hardly get mentioned by most major publications and then axed by NBC before the first season ended, claiming it was ‘too dark and gritty’ for 9pm (lmao, this said what 15 years after NYPDBLUE?) But to see it surviving on Cable, SO GREAT.
