The new Netflix original from Marvel is here! And it is what we were waiting for, so let´s talk about Marvel´s Jessica Jones, the show that premiered on the streaming service with all of its first season ready to be binge-watched.Every episode starts its name being called AKA, just like she is AKA Jessica Jones, so the premiere is AKA Girl´s Night Out.
The show starts with a noir novel kind of vibe, with Krysten Ritter doing a voiceover, until we first catch a glance of her kicking ass of someone.

Jessica-Jones-netflix-reviewFirst thing towards me liking Jessica Jones: She conducts business while in the throne, as everyone of us do in real life, right?
Carrie Ann-Moss, the Matrix alum is the one who hires Jessica for some of the cases she will handle as a freelancer investigator.
And David Friggin´Tennant is Kilgrave!!!

A very well written plot synopsis on IMDB reads:
Ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic private detective in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an unlikely champion for those in need… especially if they’re willing to cut her a cheque.

The show starts with a dark tone, as Jessica lives her lonely life trying to move past her memories.
Until we find out she has this neighbor called Malcolm who is her friend, and who tells her she uses too much sarcasm as a way to keep people away.
Then her first freelancer case arrives where she needs to find a missing girl.
And then, next scene, her superpowers first appear when she can lift a car like nobody´s business.
But the big moment of the premiere, the one that got me most thrilled about this was the first peek at Killgrave, when David Tennant licks Jessica Jones´face on a flashback / dream insert.

I don´t want to spoil too much of the show. So this is where my review will end. Most definitely worth taking a look at this show. I´m already sold. Netflix is doing good Marvel shows.

Now, your pick? Daredevil or Jessica Jones? Or maybe both? Or maybe none? I pick both. Added to watchlist!
