Wow… Shocker!!!
As tonight American Idol Season 8 Top Nine is revelead, we find out that Megan Joy Corkrey, one of the weakest performances of the night is safe.
As usual, the show kicked off with a group sing-along, this time to a Diana Ross medley of “You Keep Me Hangin’ On,” “You’re All I Need to Get By” and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.”
Michael Sarver was voted out of American Idol and the judges didn´t save him, after being head to head in the bottom with Matt Giraud, and also joined in the bottom three with Scott MacIntyre, a pressumibly fan favourite.
After more than 36 million votes — what host Ryan Seacrest said was the highest vote total for a top 10 in the show’s history — Giraud took a seat and Sarver was left singing for his life. He growled and skittered through, fittingly, “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg,” only to face a panel of judges who had not yet made up their minds. After an agonizing, frenzied additional round of deliberation, Simon announced simply, “Michael, you’re going home, sorry.”
So…

“Idol” is back to its usual Tuesday/ Wednesday schedule next week, with last season’s winner, David Cook, scheduled to drop in for the elimination show to perform his new single, “Come Back to Me,” as well as a visit from dance diva Lady Gaga, who will sing her hit “Poker Face.”
Simon and Paula should stop trying to attract so much attention to themselves over the contestants, seriously
