This was bound to happen, as the show was neither good with critics, nor resonating with the audience, and now, after only a few episodes of air, NBC is cancelling Ready for Love and pulling it off immediately from air, and moving Grimm to cover its slot on Tuesdays, while sending Dateline to cover Grimm´s spot.
There is still no word on wether Ready For Love remaining episodes will air or not eventually. Maybe summer, maybe only online, maybe never.
NBC is moving its drama “Grimm” to Tuesdays (10-11 p.m. ET) beginning April 30, behind a previously scheduled two-hour episode of “The Voice.” “Grimm” will remain in that 10 p.m. Tuesday timeslot through May 21.
“Dateline” will replace “Grimm” at 9 p.m. Fridays, beginning April 26.
Cancelled Show: Ready For Love – Synopsis
What does it take to find your soul mate? Well, Executive Producer Eva Longoria is inviting every eligible woman in America to participate in an innovative and dramatic new dating competition to find out how easy it can be. She has hand-selected three impossibly handsome guys who are ready to commit, and enlisted the three best Matchmakers in the world to find them life partners. Let the dating begin!
The show kicks off with the Matchmakers’ nation-wide search, and then launches into a romantic journey that will combine the best elements of in-studio competition and story-based reality. Each week, the contestants will be whittled down until the dramatic finale, when the three guys and final three girls decide if they’ll get engaged, married, or simply live happily ever after.
